“Electrum is a naturally occurring alloy of gold and silver, with trace amounts of copper and other metals. The ancient Greeks called it 'gold' or 'white gold', as opposed to 'refined gold'. Its colour ranges from pale to bright yellow, depending on the proportions of gold and silver. It has also been produced artificially, and is often known as green gold.”
I had no idea this was a thing.
A highly regarded ink in the FP community, I had a free bottle coming from @penchalet so decided now was the time to try it. I found the ink a little on the dry side, but the nib on this pen also writes a bit dry too so I’m not sure which it is. It shades beautifully in writing and has a nice brownish undertone when blended with water. I love the color. But, I’m a fan of green inks as well. It’s very similar to a couple RO Inks I’ve sampled in the past (avocado and lemongrass) in that they all have this slightly brown undertone.
