Fiesole☀️ the second most beautiful day of the trip. Peter being able to parlo a bit of Italiano (or my gesturing which defies langauge boarders) got us free drinks and desserts. There werw other things that made it great but thats what sticks out.
We made the mistake of getting engaged at around 4pm (I say 'we'...) so then had to drink cocktails until dinner in a weird buzz of excitement. Pro tip: get engaged after 4pm. Although we then went to this little cellar restaurant Peter knew from studying in Florence and it was so beautiful. But this is before that drinking espresso martinis and already mentally planning mah wedding.
Only one year later... It's actually a beautiful day here in Trondheim but I have itchy feet (should see a doctor about that, could be related to all the wool) and I'm reminiscing about Italia last year.

💡Interesting facts :
🔸 The Duomo has 463 stone steps, which, if you can climb to the top you can reach the cupola for a close-up of The Last Judgement and a sweeping view of the city.
🔸The emblem of Florence is a red lily, the representation of which derives from the Florentine iris, a white flower that was very common in the local area.
