Trying to get organised this morning. I feel like lately I have been getting behind on things and it feels like its slowly getting worse and worse.
I am going to plan our meals for the week and try to plan in times for me to get some housework done.
I keep seeing other mums who look so organised and can do it all and it makes me feel pretty crap to be honest. I sometimes feel like I should have everything sorted by now and know what I'm doing, I dont!
Please tell me I'm not the only one!
After crawling backwards for quite a while, our little lady has mastered crawling forwards too. She’s into all her Big Brothers toys now 😅 #8monthsold#crawling

Chi è messo come me? Al ritorno mi sono riempita di pillole di valeriana e vi devo dire che un po’ ha funzionato
Someone is happy to be 8 months old today 💙 so lucky to have been able to spend the last 8 months being your Mommy 💙 You really are the most beautiful, incredible, mischievous little boy. My absolute world 🌎💙 #8monthsold#mybabyboy 💙
Swipe to watch Peter (left) and Lewis (right) grow up! ❤
It still blows my mind that I watched these boys being born. I'm more bonded to them than any rats I've had, including their dad Shasta which is saying something! But it's hard not having a profound connection with something you played a part in creating, and watching it grow from the womb to now 8 months of age.
It's insane that they're already 8 months! It feels like yesterday that I was nannying 15 tiny squeaking bundles. It's been an experience I've treasured, getting to know Peter and Lewis. I couldn't have asked for better temperaments and personalities! They never even had that hormonal teenager phase I've come to expect with male rats!
Breeding a litter was not without its heartbreak, and losing Shasta recently made my interaction with his boys bittersweet, but it was all worth it to have Peter and Lewis in my life (and seeing how much their siblings are treasured by their families!❤).
8 months with you Ry Ry! 😍❤️ You have grown so much over the last month and are really coming out of your shell with your little personality showing more each day!! @zibba08#rileyglen#8monthsold#instabubs
Change and transition. 🍂🍃 I took this photo a couple of weeks ago and those trees in the background are now completely bare. Life is a constant transition and it’s hard to keep up. Sometimes we need to get to the other side and trust that it will be beautiful there, too...✨ Do you embrace change or work to avoid it? #babynumber4#8monthsold

It’s a special bond that spans the years. Through laughter, worry, smiles and tears.🥰 A sense of trust that can’t be broken, a depth of love sometimes unspoken,
A life long friendship built on sharing, Hugs and kisses, warmth and caring, Mother and daughter their hearts as one. A link that can never be undone.” 💞 *

Just my little and I ❤️ I can’t believe how quick these months are going, the milestones come around so quick and his personality is developing each and every day. Such a sweet little boy, and little sleep update he slept most of the night last night woohoo! 🤣 I’m trying to get lots of photos of us together because he won’t be little for long. Also while I’m here I’ve got a question for you. Would you like to see more fashion content? I have a very relaxed and comfortable style as you know and I’m still learning to style my 3rd postpartum mum body which I’m finding rather difficult, it’s taken me much longer this time to feel myself again, in fact I still don’t feel myself but I don’t think I ever will feel like that again. I just feel different now but I do like to make an effort sometimes so if that’s something you’d like to see then let me know and we can work this mum style out together ❤️

Eat Sleep Rave Repeat 🤟🏽🤙🏼😅 She’s off .. she’s fast.. she definitely knows the word no 🤣🥰.
The past few nights we haven’t stuck to routine due to Halloween .. fireworks etc. Tillie hasn’t been wanting to go down when I want her to as routine hasn’t been as great as it should be. So tonight I had to stand strong and re introduce the controlled crying method where you leave the room. They cry for a few minutes and go back in.. gentle shh.. layed her back down (pink noise machine always on 😍). I did stay there tonight and left three fingers on her tummy until she settled this time as it is the first night of doing the routine. She went to sleep.. if she didn’t this time I would have left for five minutes and repeated.
I know this method isn’t for everyone but it has helped two of my children become great sleepers after my first child being such a bad sleeper even now. So if it helps another family out there .. it’s always worth talking about.

Have you ever served your baby a meal only to have them turn their nose up at it? Today's tip is one that will hopefully help you with that! (At least sometimes 😜)
For newly eating babies, as well as babies and toddlers that have been eating for awhile, too much food on a plate can be overwhelming! It can be an immediate turn off, and encourage your child to essentially just turn their head and not want to eat anything. As babies get older, they do tend to be able to handle more food on their plate at once. You've also had time to gauge your child's appetite and enjoyment of some things. But even then, a lot of food on a plate, especially new foods, can be overwhelming. So keep this in mind as something to try, regardless of age!
Being overwhelmed with a lot of food on their plate can manifest in lots of ways, including boredom, fussiness, avoidance of food, and so many others. It might not always be easy to spot!
For newly eating babies specifically, but some older ones as well, I recommend that you aim to keep it to serving 2-3 types of food on a plate and separate them out so they are easy to see. This includes trying not to put too much food in a divided plate at one time! Place only a little bit of food on the plate, and if your baby eats something then place another piece of that food on their plate. The idea is not to restrict the food at all, but to allow them to get all they want without being overwhelmed by it.
