Coffee break time @sabahar our fair trade partner in Ethiopia.
It’s always lovely to see behind the scene pictures at their workshop in Addis. A caring community of skilled artisans; designers, alchemist natural dyers, spinners, weavers & tassel knotters. This month Naeema is going to be travelling to meet the inspiring team behind our textiles. It will be so nice to personally connect with Sophie and the team. I’m rather jealous, save some coffee for me! Ax

This is Addis Ababa Ethiopia! Lush, beautiful, victorious history and a prideful culture. My time here has been short, but I will be back! I learned about the legacy of Haile Selassie; pictured here is his bedroom from his former palace. Finally tried some authentic Ethiopian food, visited Mercato Ethiopia's largest outdoor market... you'll have to tune into my stories shortly to get the low down of that.... there was no such thing as blending in at that market.... everywhere I turned there were people yelling "Jamaica Jamaica" ( I was told it's because of my locs) Also.... they are not used to seeing plus size women 😳😳 soooo... one little girl even came up and started to caress my skin to see if I felt different 🤣🤣🤣🤣... Ooohh did I mention the Ethiopan coffee that I tried???! Delish! My wifi is kinda spotty, and the time difference is killing me... but I'll upload more in my stories soon! .
