🇭🇺 Seeing the bodacious views of #Budapest with @seetheworldbeautiful. Did you know, half of this city has a whole maze of catacombs, labyrinths, and bunkers under it? While the Pest half is flat, the Buda part of the city is filled with hills, making this maze possible. The ~200 tunnels were key to the city's defense back in the day. Today, it serves more as a major tourist attraction for this bustling city. Would you take the dive underground to explore?
MY travel tips for TUNISIA🇵🇹⭐️SAVE for reference⭐️
🔹First things first, as this seems to be the most common question and concern: Tunisia was VERY SAFE and in no point in time I felt “unsafe” or out of place. 🔹Tunisians are some of the nicest and friendliest people we have met, they are welcoming, friendly and willing to help. 🔹I’d recommend to visit during May to October. June, July and August being the busiest months. May, September and October are still great, as you’ll have less tourists and it’s cheaper. But know that in October it will be chilly early morning/evenings and you can have some rain 🌧
🔹There are MANY direct flights to Tunisia from Europe so definitely consider adding it to your European summer list. There are direct flights from Nice, Paris, London, Barcelona, Madrid, etc even Dubai, Casablanca, Cairo etc ✈️
🔹Consider staying 5 nights to not only see Tunis but also explore the Berber towns in the south. If you wish to relax more by the beach then stay longer 🌴I think 3 nights in Tunis if you just wish to explore (rather than as a beach holiday) is perfect. 🔹I highly recommend to stay in @fstunis as it is a gorgeous property with a great location in Gammarth - definitely the best in the country. You can also get a good price if you book in advance directly with them. 🔹Towns/areas in Tunis that are a MUST- Sidi Bou Said, Gammarth, La Marsa, Medina, Carthage, Corniche, Hammamet and Nabeul if possible. 🔹 Must try Tunisian tea and bambalounis - traditional Tunisian fried donut that costs only 1 dinar or less ☕️
🔹If you are not headed south, you don’t need to rent a car as taxis are affordable. I can highly recommend our driver (DM me if interested) 🚗
🔹Have cash handy because taxis and a lot of restaurants only take cash💵
🔹Mostly everyone spoke English, and Arabic , French , Russian ... many languages. Had no communication issues .
counting acts and clutching thoughts, by the river where the moss grows, over rocks the water running all the time - is it wicked when you smile even though you feel like crying? (belle & sebastian) • #isleofskye , august 2019
The preparation for tommorow's grand festival is already on the boom.
I'll be posting a few pictures but mainly I am planning a video and after watching today's crowd I am already pretty sure that it's going to turn out amazing.
Tomorrow I‘ll return to a city that I haven't visited for almost two years. Check the stories for more😉

These two wildebeest were overlooking a dry river bed and waiting for the rest of the herd to catch up. Winter is a tough time for them with the grasslands drying out thanks to a lack of rain. I ended up coming across these guys after a quick rain shower which I'm sure was a welcome respite for them.
Colorful peak foliage can be found in all upstate regions of New York State. Last weekend we drove over the Adirondacks mountain range. No matter where we looked around, all we saw was colors of all range yellow-orange, deep reds and brown as well. Clear skies, beautiful sunshine ☀️ and a warmer weather was a bonus.
