1. 📦Start packing early! In fact, I usually recommend clients start packing up non-essential items as they prep their home for sale. This serves a few purposes; it can help set the stage for amazing listing photos; it gives you a head start on packing; and it lets you donate or toss items you no longer need or want.

I met Becky 5 years ago at an open house. She had an agent, but the agent wasn’t very responsive, and wasn’t giving Becky all of the attention she needed. I DO NOT poach, but once Sid met me at the same open house on a different day, he asked Becky why she wasn’t using me. I won Sid over by chatting about how the cadet heaters in the home weren’t as efficient as forced air, and that heating the place during the winter months could get pricey. Sid grilled me on some HVAC stuff (as it turned out he was in the HVAC business), and after that I’m pretty certain he bullied Becky into using me.🤪 I found them a different house-with gas forced air-that was supposed to be their forever home. Fast forward five years later, and they were looking to buy and sell again. Their home sold in a hot minute, and we found the PERFECT home for them.
