Just sitting here at the airport thinking about my to do list once I land back home tonight and I may die 😂🤦🏼♀️ I have my baby girls birthday party to cook for (cake, cupcakes and food). The actually birthday party, and then I have to make 4 large pans of enchiladas for my husbands work 🙈 also a few little “homework” assignments for work, but let’s not talk about that 😂
STOP IDENTIFYING W/ YOUR ANXIETY‼️‼️
Before I go any further, I wanna mention that I also struggle with anxiety. However, I’ve learned how to handle it, and the first step is not identifying with it.
Let me explain.... What I mean is, realizing that you are NOT your anxiety. Just because you struggle with anxiety doesn’t mean you can’t treat it.
Once you’re able to dissociate yourself from anxiety, take the necessary steps to treat it & better your entire lifestyle, and I promise your anxiety will significantly improve.
Develop a consistent morning routine that starts with meditation and intention, so that your thoughts don’t debilitate you during the day. Being able to watch your thoughts travel through your mind, without identifying with them or reacting to them, is an incredibly freeing feeling.
Fill your diet with wholesome foods and cut back on processed food. THIS IS SO UNBELIEVABLY OVERLOOKED! Nutrition has a direct correlation to mental health that no one ever talks about. Eat better and I promise you’ll start to feel better.
Overall just make a conscious effort to IMPROVE. Don’t sit on Instagram and Facebook all day sharing memes and articles about anxiety... that’s not helping you... If anything, it’s continuously reminding the universe that you “have anxiety” so it will continue to place anxiety in your life. You get back what you put out- REMEMBER.✨
