Hike 26 for 2019.. 4.36 miles
Hopefully I’ll get a couple more before the end of the year.
Once again, into the woods I go.. To lose myself and find my soul.
I turn to nature to be soothed & healed, but mostly to have my senses put back in order.
My soul may be wild, but my heart loves the simple things and the quiet places.
I jogged the first 2.5 miles, then mostly hiked after that to enjoy the serenity.
I found so many Hag Stones there, but only brought back two.. those were the ones that felt right. There were two big ones I really wanted to bring back.. butttt!! 😏 (One of them reminded me of Groot.)
I think they were there to watch over me.
The bigger of the two I brought back will go in my garden. We now have five #HagStones in our collection.
I didn’t hike the whole trail, but I’m definitely returning!

Fall has finally arrived in Texas. Yellow, orange, bronze, and reddish leaves are coloring the state. I don’t know for how long, so when it’s nice outside, I just have to leave the house and enjoy them.
This was taken today at Camp Tahuaya in Belton, about an hour away from Austin. I dropped my son off to the Boy Scout camping weekend here and decided to walk around. And look what I found by the spring!
I like seeing the reflection in the water that I thought it looks like a painting. But then, when I stood there admiring the beauty of nature, I realized it’s the artist who could ‘copy’ the nature into his/her canvas. What do you think?
