Mao Zedong tried to destroy the beautiful history of China during the Cultural Revolution. Millions of people died as a result. The CCP does not care about anything besides power. The country of China and the CCP are not the same, regardless of how much they try to indoctrinate the people into believing they can’t be proud of their country without supporting the CCP. Limited hours of light these days. It's made for a great opportunity to look through the archives, re-edit shots, and see where my passions really are. Throwback to an amazing experience, something I'll never forget.
These portable wine & picnic tables made by the Men's Shed make a great gift. Lightweight & available in this 4 setting or a 6. They have a stall at the Christmas festivities tonight (near @sunandcompany ) & the money made goes straight back into supplies & keeping their doors open! They have some other really great stuff on offer as well, pay them a visit if you're here. Add some lovely bowls & plates from @pettigrewstceramics for a truly special gift.

This hike was a memorable one. Uphill for 3 miles in the dark to catch this epic sunrise. Worth every bit of pain/soreness to get here 😂
I read an article today that stated people that live or regularly visit coastal areas live longer. This is because of more friendly social interactions, active lifestyle, and mental health bettered by the delight of nature.
Isn't it wonderful how powerful nature is that it even heals illnesses and our minds?! 🌄

It is hard not being political when given a social media outlet. I understand it is my private blog and there is " allegedly" freedom of speech, but I started Insta as a form of escapivism, and it shall remain that way. .

May the time soon be reinstated in which interracial and /or intercontinental couples can walk down the street without raising eyebrows and racist stereotypes reemerging in their minds that are fueled by uninformed, biased and flatout idiotic speech of our world leaders that believe they stand above the law 🤗
“The easiest way for me to convey my feelings is through isolation. I need space to create and lots of it. I need to feel the biggest contrast between what I am experiencing right in the moment and the usual, ordinary city life I used to lead. The less noise the better, whether is practical or visual noise”, told us Chiara Zonca (@shadowontherun), an italian photographer based in Vancouver, Canada.
