The Lord was so sweet to reveal this truth to me in His Word this morning ❤
Being content is something I struggle with, especially with today's social media culture. It is so so so hard not to compare myself to other christian women, moms, wives and homemakers...when I see other women succeeding in their callings, I am genuinely happy for them, but it doesn't help me from feeling inadequate in comparison to them. I always feel like I dont do enough or I could do better...I should be making more healthy meals from scratch, I should be teaching Evelyn more throughout the day so she will advance with her milestones more quickly, the house should be cleaner, my child should be more obedient, I should spend less time on my phone, I should focus more on my husband....the list goes on and on... But today Jesus showed me that if my eyes are on Him and my goal is to bring Him glory through ALL I do, then I am doing enough...The Lord is pleased with my work when I am doing it for His glory! It doesnt matter that everyone else is doing, it isnt a comparison game...He just wants my heart...if the motive behind all I do is to bring Him glory, then He is pleased with me and what I do or do not accomplish in a day 🙌 "Work willingly at whatever you do, as though you were working for The Lord rather than for people" -Colossians 3:23 #Hewantsmyheart#donotcompare#loveyourlifenottheirs#forGodsGlory#Helovesme#focusonHim#colossians#morningdevotional#justwhatineeded#comparison#compare#confidenceinHim#jobwelldone#Heisenough#IamenoughthroughHim#futurehomeschooler#homeschool#homesteaddreams#homestead#wisdom#christfollower#christian
Then and Now: the First United Methodist Church, or "Coppertop". When first built the roof was indeed a gold-like shimmering copper roof. I've been told that, because the glare could be so strong for traffic at certain times of the day, a patina was used to discolor the copper to give it an artificially aged appearance and ease the glare in motorists' eyes.
This picture of me..
Back when I thought I was fat.
Man was I wrong.
I didn't hate myself AT ALL by any means back then...I had the world at my feet. It's just when I started to actually compare myself to others.
I wish I would have never compared.
Now I look at myself most days with disappointment because I let all of that anger and fear and frustration comparing myself get me down, which then led me to over eating and depression and anxiety.
But now that in the last year or so I've started to realize that I've been evolving. Making small changes, failing sometimes but never quitting. I know I am enough. I know I am lucky. I know I have a lot to look forward to in life.
So if you are feeling the same, or have ever felt the same.......WE ARE ALL WITH YOU. Come on girls, bosses, mamas...let's get it together and help each other out. It's natural to compare and want more but at the end of the day us ladies need to build not break. #ladies #bosses #mama #selflove #compare #stop #taylorswift #demilovato #kellyclarkson #meghantrainor #stopcomparing #building #buildup #women #me #you #takingcareofme
It can be easy to #compare yourself to someone else. I catch myself doing that sometimes when I see the success that other people have or the knowledge that they have, the easy delivery of information.
I think it's time again to use some characters as your personality comparison! Let me know if you can name all these characters. I am very versatile person and have all sorts of angles and edges and compartmentalize. But I can also be very bubbly and funny and fashionable. I am a fighter. I am strong and all of these AMAZING women are strong and independent in their own right. .
Who else should I add to my list?

मैं खुद को कभी दुसरों के साथ #Compare नही करता, क्योंकि मुझे पता है मैं जैसा भी हूँ, खुद के लिए #Best हूँ!
The greatest value of a picture is when it forces us to notice what we never expected to see.
Data visualization is not only important to presenting our insights but also for exploring the data for insights. While a weak or wrong visualization can bury a good insight, a strong or suitable visualization can make it stand out.
Take advantage of the fact that the human brain finds it easier to process information when it is in the form of a picture rather than words or numbers.
