This isn’t my normal type of post, but @fedex this isn’t cool. I was on my way to a doctors appointment. If I had needed the wheelchair ramp, I would have had to wait for your driver to finish. This is an office building with tons of medical offices and I didn’t see the driver while I walked to the far end of the building to my doctors office. Who knows how long I would have had to wait for the ramp. I’m sure this is the most convenient place for the driver to unload his truck, but it isn’t fair to disabled people for their only way into the building to be monopolized. PLEASE, share this post. FedEx needs to know this isn’t acceptable. - -
I’ve been getting some serious judgement from my girl the last couple days due to this shoulder dislocation. I had to reschedule my IV and take a rest day yesterday. I’m feeling a bit better today, so hopefully IV in the afternoon and then Downtown Disney for some ice cream and fireworks tonight!! -
We had an awesome time at our first hockey game last night! Antares was a little unsure about the fog horn at first (which is fair, it shook my entire body), but by the third time it sounded, she looked up at me, ready for treats. Classical conditioning ftw! I’m so proud of us as a team and that she trusts me enough in new situations to look to me first before worrying about it. The bad news is, the lady behind me kicked me hard enough in the shoulder to dislocate it 😭 I got it back in right away, but my muscles are so angry now that it fell out again overnight. So today will consist of ice and muscle relaxers to try to get it back in place. -

We got some super exciting news yesterday that I’m going to be an ambassador for @rileyapp.co 😁 I’m super excited for their app to come out to help disabled people connect and feel less alone in their struggles. I know there have been times when I’ve felt like the only one suffering (painsomnia anyone?). Here’s to new friendships! - -
Excited for our first professional hockey game together tonight! Gotta go to a sports game to pass #phasefour with @starfleetservicedogs and hockey is my second favorite sport 🏒 Antares got some extra exercise today to make sure she’s ready for a big nap during the game. Considering she’s done musicals, zoos, and Downtown Disney, I’m sure this will be a breeze for her. The seating won’t be a breeze for me though 😅 Here’s hoping I hold up okay! - -
FREE👏🏻LIFETIME👏🏻SUPPORT!! I love all my pups so much that all owners get a lifetime worth of support after Boot Camp. You should never feel stuck, confused, or worried. Just did a little follow up session with Blue. Update: she’s still the cutest pup ever.
