Why @pineridgehollow ?
As my review states: they have consistently delivered on quality food with an emphasis on local and sustainable. They have my 5 🌟 review for good reason.
You can find the review below.
Did you know I do Google reviews? I'm getting close to 600! I usually hit top 1% for Google guides in Winnipeg.

My cover photo highlights the lovely @brainsandbronzed holding a plate of delicious roasted squash.
We were invited to both the @oakknoll_farm and @pineridgehollow. This post focuses on pine ridge but I will do a follow up with the farm. It needs it's open post... Why...? Baby goats!
It was a wonderful instameet that @travelmanitoba arranged. I made a few new friends including the amazing woman on my cover.
I had trouble deciding which was better, the beautiful dinner or cuddling with baby goats.
Are you excited about seeing baby goats?

🅼🅴🅽🆄 🅿🆁🅴🆅🅸🅴🆆 Why @vgrestaurant ? When you speak of eating local, the Velvet Glove should be one of the first restaurants that come to mind. They feature some of the best regional offerings around. The best part of their Friday and Saturday dinner? Valet Parking that's included with the meal for a stress free downtown dining experience.

Examples of their sources:
Heirloom tomatoes 🍅 varieties and Cucumbers are sourced from Greenland Gardens
Fresh Greens , heirloom vegetable varieties are sourced from Harms Farm located in St.Anne.
I was told they have a Roof top garden which they grow herbs used to highlight their dishes.
Their Trout 🎣 is from Watersong Farms. They use Three Guys Greens for all seedlings and micro cress.
They also have Foraged mushrooms like chanterelles and morels from all over the province as well as a Pantry program , wherein they pickle and preserve a lot of their produce in Jams, Jelly, Pickled Vegetables , Kimchi’s, Sauces, Pesto and such.
Thank you to Chef Tim Palmer, Chef Daniel, Stella, Carly, Chef Jeet, the staff of @vgrestaurant for the wonderful hospitality and of course the @fairmontwinnipeg
I wanted to mention I did go back on my own with a vegan 🌱 friend as they have what would be considered a full vegan menu!
This meal is not vegan, but I will be posting that one in the future!
I also love how they had the backdoor bbq and backdoor burgers (today is the last day!!) What are your thoughts on the @vgrestaurant ? Have you been?
