The programme has been launched for the children to participate in online competitions such as writing slogans, drawings, short story writing, paintings, etc. Under this programme, children have to upload their works and they will receive certificate every week.
Children of age 5 to 18 years are eligible to participate in the competition. The competition is to be held under two themes namely
Theme: My Responsibility as a young citizen during COVID-19 and Being at home during lockdown
Under Ayushman Bharat, the testing for the poor and vulnerable, (that is the citizens eligible to claim benefits under the scheme) has been made free. The testing of COVID-19 in public facilities are already free. The hospitals empaneled under the scheme shall tie up with an authorized testing facility to test for COVID-19.
Chief Minister of Odisha, Naveen Patnaik has been conferred with 'Hero to Animals Award' by animal rights body PETA India. He has been awarded by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) for allocating funds to feed community animals in Odisha during the lockdown over the novel coronavirus pandemic.

Religion ▪️Harsha was primarily a worshiper of shiva, but he was #tolerant to other religions as well . In his later life, he became a great patron of Buddhism ▪️He endowed the land grants to the priests of both Hindu and Buddhist religions ▪️He convened a grand assembly of Kannauj to widely publicise the doctrine of #Mahayana_Buddhism . He is said to have erected many Buddhist stupas on the banks of the river Ganga and a number of monasteries at the sacred places of the Buddhists
The two great Assemblies under Harsha are as follows:
KANNAUJ ▪️At kannauj , Harsha arranged a big assembly of 20 kings , 4000 monks acquainted with Buddhism , 3000 Brahmins and #Nirgranthas (jains) and 1000 scholars from all over India ▪️It was presided over by Hiuen-Tsang . For three weeks , topics of Mahayana Buddhism were disclosed . This was a shot in arms of Mahayana Buddhism
PRAYAG (Prayagraj) ▪️Quinquennial distribution by the king to the people was held at prayag. Here a great assembly for 75 days was held ▪️The images of Buddha , sun and shiva were publicly worshiped and gifts of valuable articles and clothing were given to about 50 lakh persons belonging to all faiths ▪️Hiuen Tsang was invited by Harsha to witness his 6th quinquennial distribution of alms and gifts (Maha Moksha Parishad ) at Prayag
