By coincidence? Or design? 🤔❤🌎🌱 Traditional Chinese Medicine is a medicine that's over 2000 years old. As a result, it draws a lot of diagnosis comparisions from nature. Common terms you may hear are wind, cold, heat and damp.
While these terms can seem odd, or even rudimentary in confluence with western medicine terminology, if we look around nature we can see how they made these assumptions.
There are many examples of our body mimicking nature.
From the bronchial tree of our lungs to the ridges of our finger pads.

7 days ago I decided to give myself the gift of better health. Everyday, I’ve felt healthier, grown more confident, and learned more ways to eat better. This has truly been a great reset for me. I can not recommend Ami enough, she is so helpful and has so much info on how to make healthy changes. Even my girls are asking for fresh vegetables at snack time. These supplements are very clean, safe, and effective. 💚 - Melissa T.

Gone fishin’ 🎣
Fishing has always been a big passion of mine. For me it’s meditative, relaxing and extremely rewarding. When I’m out there, far away from everything, it’s a chance for me to think deep thoughts, decompress and solve my biggest problems.
I highly encourage everyone out there to find an activity that brings you joy and soothes your mind. If you don’t have anything in mind, it’s time to start trying new things!
Time is not refundable. Spend it with intention.
Do you ever start the day feeling like you don’t have enough time to get it all done?
At the end of the day do you often wonder where the time went so fast?
Do you ever look 👀 back at the months gone by and scratch your head 🧐 wondering how it flew by so fast?
I spent 12 years as a school counselor. 11 of them not fully satisfied in that career path.
I kept thinking “next year it’ll get better” - next year it will BE better. I tried changing schools, towns, myself...over a DECADE trying to fix what was unfixable.
but the core problem remained. I was in a career that didn’t foster my growth. Advocate for my happiness and health. Demand they I care for myself body and mind.
So I made life a little harder for a couple years. I started a virtual coaching business as a coach with Team Beachbody. I had to hustle hard those first few years to really make this into the “something” I wanted it to be.
And now I can spend each moment of my life. My days. My hours. Being intentional. Cultivating #FREEDOM and surrounded by a group of people who cheer on my success. Push me to be happy and healthy. Expect me to grow and change. Advocate for my wellness. Just as I do for them!
♥️ How big is your cheering section?
Don’t be like me and spend 11 years wishing it all magically got better!! It won’t. TO SEE CHANGE YOU HAVE TO MAKE CHANGES!
You always have a place with US! #youcansitwithus#wellnesscoach#wildreigncollective

For gut health, HOW and WHEN you eat can be just as important as WHAT you eat.
Do you ever eat a bunch of snacks over a few hours of running around instead of a real, sit down lunch? You usually end up feeling a little crummy and weighed down (even if the snacks are healthy) right? I’m guilty of this too 🙋♀️
This has a lot to do with your migrating motor complex (MMC) and how your digestive system and nervous system interact. I posted a blog today that goes over the gut health basics I’ve been talking about this week along with some lifestyle tips to improve your digestion.
During the holidays - when you often have less control of what you’re eating - these can definitely be helpful (especially the MMC tip!)
The link is in my bio so be sure to read up nutrition nerds 🤓 And if your gut is not on your good side right now, I’d love to work with you! Apply online to become a 2020 client 🖤

The diversity and robustness of the Microbiome has been linked to much more than Gastrointestinal wellness....Diabetes, Autoimmune illness, Chronic Fatigue, Eczema, Fibromyalgia, Depression, and Obesity are also connected to the microbiome (to name a few!) How is diversity cultivated? FOOD! And the avoidance of unnecessary antibiotics and stress.
Studies show that the Microbiome changes in 1-2 days when fed significant portions of vegetables and fruits. It's a tool we all have access to. Our Microbiomes are a direct reflection of what we eat.

THE 80/20 RULE
With it being December already and the holiday events fast approaching us I wanted to share this rule. The rule is for 80% of the week you should be keeping yourself on track by having meals that are clean, nutritious and healthy. The remaining 20% you can be more flexible with your meals but obviously in moderation. It’s definitely hard around this time of the year to be always on top of it so I wanted to share a sustainable way of keeping yourself on track still. Remember consistency and moderation is key. Enjoy all your festivities.

What are your favorite fruit or vegies?
If buying conventional produce, choosing the ones listed on the “Clean 15” side is your best bet. Anything listed on the “Dirty Dozen” side, should always be organic as they contain the highest amount of pesticides, herbicides and or fungicides.
Is there anything more nerdy than loving #charting and documentation? 😂 We love our people and part of that is to make sure their family and team of professionals are in the loop of what’s going on.
We don’t pretend to have all the answers and we certainly don’t take an “our way or the highway” approach. It’s always about a #teameffort and making sure everyone’s on the same page. It doesn’t hurt that we try to make it as easy to read as possible so no key details are missed!
So you do stuff.... you run, go to the gym, hike mountains.... do yoga... ya know.... you do stuff....
But here is the test ::: does what you do :: Give you....
.... 💥LESS REACTION
💥LESS FREQUENCY OF REACTION
💥LESS INTENSITY OF REACTION
💥QUICKER RECOVERY TIME
If not.... perhaps you want to reconsider what you are doing and if what you are doing is serving you...... .
For me, the main practice@is yoga :::
And this is the ✔️ list for how you know if your yoga practice is working for you: You react to life’s downs (and ups) with less reactivity, in general. You have strong emotional reactions less frequently, and stay more balanced as a rule. When you do react, you find the intensity is less disruptive, and you recover more quickly, returning to a state of balance and a relaxed heart. (Another away to say it is that the distance between, “WHUT????” and “Soooo…. WHUT NOW??” is shorter and more easeful. .
Pay attention, watch and learn and make little life adjustments along the way ❤️
Last month, we partnered with @vasafitness in Centennial to bring Saunders employees a guided stretch and roll session💪🏼 Recovery and rest are just as important as movement - especially during the holiday season! Don’t forget to care for yourself through rest, stretching, rolling, massage and/or chiropractic work after intense exercise👍🏼
One year ago, I said yes to an exciting opportunity! Annnd I was freakin terrified! Lol
Like I had to call two of my best friends and ask them not to disown me or think I’m a crazy lady for saying yes! 😂
But, I’m doing it because I’ve found something that has brought me and my family more health and happiness! And I want more of this for us and for others!
And so much of it comes back to this time last year when Carter had a cold! He was hacking up a storm and still too young for many of the OTC medications, so I looked at my new oil kit and found one that just might work! Annnd Ohh.My.Gosh did it ever!! Within 15 minutes his non-productive, hacking cough became productive and he was able to cough up some of that crap while also clearing his congestion considerably. My hubby and I were shocked! We continued giving him a little chest rub with this oil twice a day for another day or two and kiddo bounced back like a champ! It was amazing! Annd...I was seeing my skin texture improving with the use of some other oils. Y’all, that did it! I was hooked and this whole oily world became a real thing to me. And because it was working for me, I wanted more people to know about it!
And sharing about these products is a double blessing! It’s a way for other families to swap out items in their homes for healthier alternatives and it also helps my family to continue to do the same! The invitation is always there friends whenever it’s a good time for you! ❤️

2019 was not my year. ••••
I started the year in stage 2 hypertension. ••••
I tried new things and I failed miserably. I took jobs that weren’t right for me, one where I made less than minimum wage and worked for free.
I lost 10 pounds in the beginning of the year, then gained it back. I lost 15 pounds over summer, and gained 10 back. I saw my lowest weight in 3 years and got scared that I might actually hit my goal. So I stopped and went back to my old ways. ••••
I promoted to the first level in my business and have BARELY been hanging on to it.
I let others opinions of me stop me from pursuing my passion and creating a life filled with purpose. ••••
I was immediately attacked upon announcing that I had started a business with Arbonne. ••••
I’ve been keeping my talents hidden and downplaying them for a long time, in an effort to not make anyone uncomfortable. ••••
That all changes today. It is my job to better myself and break through this prison I have put myself in. It is my job to spread Arbonne’s mission. It is my job to help others be well, build wealth, and help others do the same! ••••

Today I want to speak to you about my training break & the importance of adequate rest to avoid burnout.
As some of you know, I’ve trained very intensely over the past 5 years. I’m a runner & was running competitively, even representing Malta in races overseas.
I made one big mistake though... I never took a break. Like, 𝒏𝒆𝒗𝒆𝒓! In 2016 I think I can count the rest days I took on one hand🖐🙈 It was all fine for the first year & a half. But then the problems began. I got injured & the pain would never go away. I was constantly tired & had little energy for anything outside of running.
Last November I found a new coach who values rest & pushed me to take more rest days. Strangely enough, if i took 2 or 3 days rest, I’d feel like shit on my next run. I couldn’t understand!
During summer my coach ordered me to take 2 weeks rest. This was SO hard for me & way outside my comfort zone. I felt even more shitty after taking this break!
In the end, my coach started to notice that 2 weeks rest were simple not enough! My burnout & fatigue was so bad that I needed much longer. He suggested I take some months away from intense training to hopefully give my body time to recover fully, so that I can come back stronger.
This is what I’ve been doing since October ✨ It was hard at first, but as the weeks went by, the guilt subsided & I began to notice how I didn’t really miss it. Whenever I feel like running, I go. But if I don’t feel like, I don’t. I do the same with the gym. This period is all about training 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝒘𝒉𝒆𝒏 𝑰 𝒇𝒆𝒆𝒍 𝒍𝒊𝒌𝒆. I’m not making any sacrifices to put in the training.
Last week I started to really feel the benefits of this break. I noticed that whereas before I would feel like shit when running after taking 2 days off, now I can take 6 days off & feel incredible on my next run.
I feel so grateful! Grateful for the guidance of my coach & thankful that I listened, took his advice & actually going through with it, even though I was so scared!
I learnt a lesson, the hard way! Hopefully by reading this you’ll be able to avoid the hardship yourselves!
Cheers to more rest days guys 🥂

Eat your veggies 🌶🍅🥒🍆🥑🌽🥦🥕Don’t regret your food, enjoy it!! Eating healthy doesn’t have to be hard and will make you feel sooo much better
Take a few minutes before each meal to think how it will make you feel afterwards. Listen to your body. I like to add some sort of greens 🥬 🌱 to almost everything and I NEVER regret it
Wanna know my (not so) secret ingredient for the best dark chocolate bark ever?? 🤫
I’ll give you a hint... ☕️⠀
Okay that wasn’t so hard 😂 It’s COFFEE!⠀
I can’t wait to bring this toasted almond coffee bark to holiday parties and family get-togethers this season. 🥳 Usually by the time dessert rolls around, most of my family (including myself in here) is feeling pretty tired. Caffeine to the rescue! 🦸⠀
🍫 To add coffee to a classic almond bark, I added finely ground coffee to the chocolate as it melted, then sprinkled some coarsely ground beans on top.⠀
It might sound weird, but trust me me, if you’ve ever eaten chocolate-covered espresso beans, you’re gonna love it. Coffee brings out the richness of the chocolate and almonds and adds a nice little crunch. ☺️
🙌🏼 So excited this recipe is live on the blog! 🧐 For the full (easy) recipe and nutrition facts, go to the link in my bio or visit chelseadishes.com/toasted-almond-dark-chocolate-coffee-bark/⠀
Give me a ☕️ if you would devour this!⠀

A huge and important aspect of energy work is mindset and setting clear intentions.
Holistic wellness practices will have you work cohesively in mind, body and spirit to support your life goals. Your goal may be feeling happy, reaching a state of joy or getting a new job. Regardless of what it is, the energy in which you vibrate at will allow you to call in that which you desire faster and at the highest level of integrity possible.
𝐓𝐨 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐢𝐧 𝐜𝐥𝐨𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐚 𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐠, I will be sharing some simple tips that you can implement right away and get your energetic work going.
𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐬𝐭 and very simple. Close your eyes and place both your hands in your heart space and say “I conciouslly choose to raise my vibration”. Repeat it as many times as you feel is necessary. Breath and connect with yourself as you do it. Go out to nature if possible. Anchor yourself to this energy and mindset throughout the day. Why love? Because you are automatically asking to raise your vibration to 500s hz. So we immediately set the intention for an energy level far greater than what we vibrate at in our human consciousness.
𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 and also very simple. Do a simple full body detox for 7 days. Your target is to remove inflammatory foods that trigger you, numb you and prevent you from gaining clarity to do your energy work.
These are the specific items I would like you to cut out of your eating just foe 7 days:
- Recreational drugs
𝗪𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐬𝐮𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐨𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐣𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐧𝐞𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐨 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐭𝐲𝐥𝐞.

per recent questions regarding my “diet” ... the word diet doesn’t exist in my world and never has. I’m cautious what I eat on a daily basis but on vacation I just eat whatever I want in moderation. No restrictions and ZERO gilt. It’s temporary. As far as exercising, I walk on the beach about once a day but that’s it. I know myself that I’ll jump back into working out and eating healthy when I get home. Living in the moment is key and not passing up on cool ranch doritos, fried conch fritters and frozen mango daiquiris 😏 #duh

15 1,6701 December, 2019
🎄 DECEMBER INTENTIONS 🎄 the big theme here is less. Less doing, more being. Trying to end the year in a relaxed and reflective state so I have the energy to start 2020 with clarity & focus 💫
What’s one thing you want to focus on in December?
I started getting frustrated the other day as I remembered the errands I needed to run and tasks I needed to finish before I was able to start work:
✔️Get blood drawn
✔️Pick up new dosage of current medication
✔️Start new dosage of a NEW medication
✔️Message naturopath with updates
✔️Order buyteric acid pills
✔️Fill pill case
I felt defeated. I felt like it wasn’t fair.
But then I stopped myself in my tracks and decided to change my perspective
I didn’t technically HAVE to do these things. No one was forcing me. I was CHOOSING to do them in order to take care of my body and my flare. I was CHOOSING to do them because I prioritize my health.
And I changed my perspective and realized, “wow I GET to do these things. I GET to have access to great healthcare. I GET to have the choice to do things that support my body.”
So I challenge you to switch your internal narrative from “have to” —> “choose to” and “get to”
even if it feels impossible, just switching your mindset to focus on your choices every once in awhile helps you feel like you’ve gained some power back in a life than can feel a bit powerless sometimes 💛 Xx
