The autumn leaves in the winter,
they cried to me.
They claim that they survive not in the winter.
' We ' fell upon the ground in autumn.
Humans and animals alike,
they marvelled at us in the blossoming days of the spring.
In the summer they say under our canopy.
Nevertheless, in autumn when we fell.
They cease to care for us.
we exists no longer in their eyes.
We can still whisoer amongst the melody of the invisible wind.
But in winter.
No more do we exists.
Just the coolness,
and the dryness of winter.
“God’s first encounter with man way messy. Mud was on His hands after He formed us from the dust of the ground. Dirt was on His lips after He pressed His face against the clay and kissed us. Life began when God chose to get messy and kiss dust.
If life began with such a beautifully messy collision of Heaven and mud, why are we so afraid to be vulnerable and to get honest with God? We seem to waste so much time trying to give Him a flawless performance, when what He really desires is our broken and honest hearts. The Father is not afraid of our honesty and our mess. What if He is attracted to it? Look at the way the father ran down the road to embrace his prodigal son. This son had been homeless and living with pigs. I am sure you could smell him from a mile away. There was probably mud and pig waste caked over his whole body, but this didn’t change the way the father embraced him. The scripture says the father out his clean lips upon the dirty face of his son and kissed him with unfailing mercy. Just as the Father kissed mud in a garden and created man, this father kissed his prodigal and the son became a new man in his father’s arms. Life comes from face-to-face encounters with the Father.” - Jonathan David Helser
These times have really challenged me in different ways. It has given me the opportunity to slow down and really evaluate my core principles. With great challenge comes even bigger opportunity. .

My last wilderness hike. With so much nature-love it’ll reverberate in my heart as long as it needs to.
I’m fairly reclusive by nature but today was the first time that I started to feel the mental wear of shelter in place. I’m thankful to have my wife for company and my heart goes out to those that are ill during this time. I do find some escape in looking at everyone’s IG posts and getting lost in them for awhile. This ability to share instantly is amazing. It did make me wonder what it must have been like during the 1918 influenza pandemic when people didn’t have access to all this instant information, it must have been terrifying. I’m also thankful to have @photoshop as an outlet. It can give an outlet to take you to another place; I see so many amazing creations and they inspire me all the time. Everybody stay safe out there and keep sharing, I’m watching. 🙏

“Not once had there been such eyes, such a nose, such silly, wiggly, wonderful toes.” #readwithmeproject
We’ve been reading this book again a lot lately. Benjamin loves reading it to Charlotte. It is one of the sweetest children’s books out there. If you don’t have it- I strongly suggest you add it to your collection! I will post the inspiration page in my stories 🤍

This past month has just been a disaster for our world. All it took was one virus to spread like a wildfire and now we’re dealing with numerous unfortunate events. Loved ones are becoming ill. Racism has erupted once again. Our economy is being destroyed. People are fighting over toilet paper. Small businesses have no choice but to shut down. The most important concern is our health. We are the change to this problem so lets do our part so that we can go back to enjoying life how it used to be.
