Ksamil is the popular destination in Albania.
During the months of July and August Ksamil is full of people.
This was the view from the hotel @muratihotel and don't forget to visit the bar @biancolounge it really worth it. You can have a nice sunset from there.
Amor a la Mexicana 💕 Nothing like having your #girlgang by your side when exploring the magical ✨Yucatán by foot 🇲🇽
Hello ruins: Built by the Maya people, Chichén Itzá was a large pre-Columbian city in the heart of the Yucatán that now is an active archeological site soooo with visiting (before 9am to avoid the crowd). The massive step pyramid behind us, El Castillo (aka the Temple of Kukulkan), dominates the site and around the equinoxes, the sun strikes off the northwest corner of the pyramid and casts a series of triangular shadows resembling a feathered serpent "crawling" down the pyramid. 😬🙀🙅🏽♀️
Meaning “the mouth at the well of Itzá,” some even believing that the term Itzá is in reference to the Mayan word for magic—Itz. No way of really knowing what is actually true, but this place sure feels magical to me ✨
On Sept 4th, I hit the road. I let go of almost everything I own, bought my Honda CRV and embarked on a 10,000+ mile, 6+ month journey that would take me through about 19 states around the US. ✨✨✨✨I just launched a video on YouTube where I share what my first 3 months on the road have been like! ✨✨✨✨
I share why I hit the road and talk about my experience. Head on over to the link in my bio. .
I share my story to inspire other women, other latinas, and to let them know this lifestyle is accessible and possible. If hitting the road is your dream, do it!!! It’s been an amazing ride. If you don’t have a van, so what!! Get creative and you can make anything work. If you don’t have a ton of money, that’s okay!! There are so many ways to travel and you can find ways to make money while on the road. .
As a child, we are told to follow our dreams and anything is possible. We get so distracted as we take on so many responsibilities as an adult and FORGET. But 2 years ago, I began to live those two things again- I began to follow my dreams and truly believe anything is possible. That has led me to this journey ✨
As women, we are taught to be scared; be afraid. We are taught the world wants to hurt us and is very unsafe. But I have seen so much kindness on the road! I am learning the strength of community like I never have seen. I am feeling support and love on a whole new level. I am experiencing a new kind of strength in myself and I am experiencing one of my most important assets: INSTINCT. .
I’ll be sharing more in the coming weeks and months. For now, go hit subscribe and I appreciate you all!!!
This little video features my friends Bryant and Cristina (@teenylove) who both joined me on this journey for a couple of weeks. 💖
Hola amigos! 👋
Yesterday, I explored a stellar new installation in Philly w the fam! A massive sculpture of the moon uses NASA imagery to show every cliff and crater and will loom over Ben Franklin for the next month! (Swipe for full image.) Definitely a s(atell)ite to behold! 😁
Also, be sure not to miss all the awesome free holiday attractions sprinkled across in Center City! I’ve made this a seasonal must and loved playing tour guide for my mom & stepdad yesterday. Keep an eye out for some highlights in my stories over the next few days!

Me diste fuerza en los días de frío, me diste ganas de extrañarte sin ningún motivo 💚
Sometimes you can fall in love with a city/Country instantly. I think it took me all of five minutes after landing in Ireland to know that I was in love. I mean, how can you not fall for all that green?! Is there a place you immediately felt a connection to?

Being back in Central America has got me smiling from ear to ear! I can’t help but love everything about exploring this part of the world... the wildlife, the culture, the architecture (like the beautiful Santa Catalina Arch behind me), and most importantly, the people. ⠀
If you’d like to tag along on some of my Guatemala adventures be sure to check my latest Instagram Story. It’s got baby sea turtles, underground crypts, and more! 🇬🇹🐢💀🌽🌋 ⠀
Hi hi! It's Luz aka @Luzisima. I am a proud co-founder Latinxhikers. I just wanted to reintroduce myself since its been a while an give y'all a quick update on life. ⠀
Before we started LXH I use to post about awesome hikes and outdoorsy locations on my personal Instagram. I’d get a lot of questions from friends asking where to go and tips. This is part of the reason I got so excited when we started LXH. It’s a place to share, educate and expose others to these opportunities! ⠀
I’m a proud Ecuadorian American from a tiny town in the Amazon called Sucua. My current favorite food is tigrillo cuz plantains are lifeeee. Cumbia is life. Karaoke is life and yes I talk súper cantado in Spanish 😁 me han dicho que hablo como vieja but I’ve realized it’s bc I still use my parents' slang from back in their day. I’m behind on the cool words people are using #teachme lol⠀
I’m currently trying to tackle the “post-vacation blues” and getting back to my normal life schedule. I’ve never thought I’d crave routine until now. I went on a month and a half cross country road trip which I’m still trying to internalize and digest. I've officially been back “home” for a full week now. I'm an amateur photographer that is too overwhelmed currently with how many pictures I took on the trip. I don’t know how to edit them. There are just SO many ways to do it. #sendhelp ⠀
In the midst of all this, I’m also currently moving! I’ve been living with my parents in the suburbs of Atlanta and am finally going to live in the city and stop crashing at friends places 😅 #thanksfriends ⠀
I've been working part-time for the Appalachian Trail Conservancy as the Latinx Partnership Coordinator to create more stewardship opportunities on the AT since April. It’s been soooo amazing to team up with such an admirable group of people.⠀
If you’ve made it this far- I’m currently on the hunt for some sweet gigs/opportunities in the outdoor industry. If anyone wants to refer me to something I’d be so grateful 😁 ⠀
If you have any questions or want to chat hit me upppp! Enjoy your food this week and try to make it outside if you get the chance! 🥰⠀

It had been years when I was having a cultural identity crisis.
Even though my first language is Spanish, am I truly Mexican?
I'm a first-generation Mexican-American but am I Mexican enough?
I inherited Mexican cultural beliefs that my parents taught me, but is it enough to claim who I am?
I don't know Spanish fluently - so, do I dare to call myself Mexican?
I felt stuck in between my two identities: Am I too American? Or am I too Mexican?
A couple of years ago, I vowed myself to visit Mexico to explore my roots, my privileges, my cultural identity and who I am.
Here is what so interesting. The USA treats me as there is no way I can be Mexican...but Mexico treats me as I am Mexican. Two different countries, two different perspectives (for many reasons). After my two months journey in Mexico, why do I have to prove to others that I am Mexican? Why does it seem "impossible" to have two cultural identities? The world isn't so simple. There is no black and white. I didn't need them to put me into a labeled box.
I'm thankful for the tough, confusing journey that I've been through, and I'm thankful for all the people I've met during my journey in Mexico - because they've taught me something: I am Mexican enough.
In short, Cuba was great! The longer version: Cuba is like no other place I've ever visited and I cannot imagine experiencing it for the first time without the highly educational group portion of my trip put together by @hownottotravellikeabasicbitch and @likeacuban. To understand this country from present day, young Cubans themselves was a privilege and I could go on and on as to what we may think we may know about Cuba - it's stuck in time, oh my! - is far from accurate, and most importantly, yes, you are able to travel there easily and legally and via a US connecting city. I have lots of thoughts on group travel, iced coffee, and how to visit Cuba. For now, I have all of the fun visuals saved to highlights. More to come!
