Just another super sweaty leg day that actually left my legs super sore. Tried out the single legged hip thrust today and hit max hip thrusts if 110 pounds ! Love gymshark leggings and can’t wait for my order to come in 😍 #legday#girlswholift
Why is mobility so important ? 🧐 . .
The more muscle you pack on the harder it gets to scratch your back 🤷🏽♀️ .
Mobility exercises help increase your range-of-motion and your stabilization. It incorporates flexibility and strength that is crucial to help you squat deeper, jump higher, and push harder . While also, helping prevent injury . .
WOW! Mobility is awesome right. Well then why do so many people skip out on it then ⁉️ . .
Before starting every workout I spend about 15 minutes just warming up. Incorporation — Myofascial Release Work (foam rolling) . — Dynamic Stretching . — Bodyweight & Resistant Band Movements . .
For me, my hips get incredibly tight because I squat and deadlift A LOT. These are some movements I incorporate into my warmups.
OKAY!! I have something important to say and I’ll try to keep it brief. @annavictoria said something recently that I want to discuss! BE GRATEFUL WHEN YOU ARE ABLE TO EXERCISE. I used to use exercise as punishment or as a type of “purging” after a binge, and I didn’t care too much that I was hurting my brain and body because honestly, I looked really good and I felt really physically strong. UNTIL I started experiencing very debilitating symptoms. My hips were always popping out (very painful), knees over extending, migraines once or twice a week, extreme spleen and stomach pain, fatigue, and nerve pain in my legs, arms, back, and FACE. I found out I had lupus. I went into a period of depression, because every time I tried to exercise I became extremely injured. After speaking with doctors, naturopaths, other people with lupus, and researching on my own, I learned different ways to manage my pain and try to prevent flare ups. Through this experience I learned that exercise is not a punishment or a chore, it is a PRIVILEGE!! Don’t take your body or your ability to move for granted. You don’t know what might happen one day, so enjoy and experience the days and workouts that you can!! Love you all ❤️
*other people with chronic illness— your story is your own! We all have different stories and issues! My whole point is to don’t take your body for granted!! Move when you can!*
So today I went to the store to get avocado and I had forgotten a knife . So here I was in my car with my scale in my lap beating the avocado with a spoon to get it open. I ended up being successful and got my 40g of avocado weighed. Thank you, that is all :)
Monday Motivation 🚨 -
We all have that one problem area that drives us crazy and mine happens to be my lower body‼️ I’ve been blessed with thickness but mannnnn is it hard to get firm and build muscle 💪🏼. I’ve been training legs 🦵 3 days a week and started really focusing on my diet to reach my goals. At first I was scared to start lifting heavier weights but found out that is the answer 😆‼️ What do you struggle with the most⁉️ Always remember when you want to give up “DALE QUE TU PUEDES 🌙” -
Sometimes when things are falling apart, they may actually be falling into place.
Don’t focus on what is going wrong, hold on to hope. When things are going wrong, it’s easy to get caught in the moment and to believe that all is lost when in actual fact, there maybe something great on the horizon. There is often a gift in failure if you look hard enough. We gain greater compassion and strength from our struggles. Gain a new perspective ☺️ #everycloud#faith#believe

I’ve been working on a Gut & Butt 🍑 Guide and the results I’m getting 🥵☝🏽!!!! I can’t wait to share it with you guys 😈
In the meantime visit: www.FrenchysPhysique.com (Link in Bio 😉) for my currently available guides. Trust me. I’ve done every single one of them to get to where I am today 👏🏽!
Been about 2 months since I did any kind of deadlift and about a month since I even did a pulling movement along the lines of a rack pull.
Today was Hammie’s and I’ve been working a lot on my hips and mobility so figured I’d see where we’re at. My back issues are still lingering but as a professional in this industry I know for certain one of the biggest obstacles in over coming injury is overcoming the 𝐹𝐸𝒜𝑅 itself.
Back pain is not forever, injuries do not need to be forever, we just need to do the right things to increase our resiliency, build up capacity greater then where it was and 𝒪𝒱𝐸𝑅𝒞𝒪𝑀𝐸 the fear.
While I work with @ohptraining to build my capacity, mobility, pelvic and spinal awareness / control , Its me who is in the drivers seat of overcoming the fear.
So to do just that we put in two spinal loading / pulling movements today. Taking them to brutal failure would be just silly but i worked my way up and ended up performing 3 sets of 10 @ 365 for sumo’s which felt good and then finished the day with banded dB RDL’s.
As of right now I feel great , time will tell if we pushed the envelope or not, I’ll be listening to the biofeedback given to me over the next day or so to know if we’re too early to implement or if we can keep working on them.
Your body will always communicate with you, it’s up to YOU to listen. Something I think we can all work on , especially my self as I know I often won’t take my foot off the gas when there’s a sign i should.
LEGS FOR DAYYSSS, leg lifts are one of the simplest yet overlooked workouts for leg day! Get with it y’all! It promotes balance, flexibility, core strength, it’s really endless. You could even add leg weights for a bit of a challenge! #legday#leglifts#exercise#legworkout

Nice and heavy! I used the same weight for deadlifts (95lb) and for single leg lunges 😂 you know how much I hate changing weights. So, the key here is to do a good glute activation prior to starting. Also, watch your knees! Make sure they aren’t going over your toes. Lastly, the kickbacks were awesome, if you ever tried to place ankle strap about knee, you know it gives great glute engagement! Happy #motivationmonday folks!

“I’m either at the gym, about to go to the gym or thinking about being at the gym🏋🏽♀️” so yesterday i spoke this girl at the gym and she made me realize that i reaaaaally need to get back to my routine. Almost everyone has the same struggle of getting back to a routine after the holidays, but in the core you just need to stop b*tching about it and drag yourself over there. Allright, LETS GOOOO NOW!!!! 💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
