Walking down Florida Ave, then I stopped to photograph something in the corner of two buildings. Nothing special, just some texture and symmetry... I do however notice that down about 20yds there’s a few guys painting a building and a couple younger guys posted up on a truck watching. As I stood there one got off the truck and he started towards me .... “yo what you photographing...” now from across The street I’m sure this interaction may have looked a lot different from what actually took place. This brother who I later learned goes by the name WiFi approached me because he was genuinely interested in what I was shooting because he’s been wanting to link with photographers to help him photograph models for his new agency. Not only that but this entrepreneur also has a record label and studio. We exchanged contacts and I was on my way. As I’m walking, I’m thinking to myself 1. Damn, I love my culture. 2. Again it’s crazy how much you learn and the barriers you break down when you stop to talk to an individual... I needed to turn around and talk more with this young brother. This is when I was introduced to his partner Keenan (on your left) who was equally as inspiring. They have a network of individuals, just like themselves ranging from ages of 38 down to 24 (WiFi). What’s also dope is that the building being painted at the beginning of this story is the one that stands behind them, and their newest business, a shoe store they are opening soon.
Unlearn. Stop judging books before you read them. .

Leica M7 Black Paint A La Carte. Playing with a few cameras lately (Leica SL2 / Fuji GFX50R / Fuji X-T4 / Sony A7R IV with their respective fastest wide angle lenses) for Northern Light and Milky Way photography. I’ll follow up with a more detailed experiences but a few notable findings 🔴 Leica SL2 has an unimpressive ergonomics on a tripod but wins out on the image quality department. 🔴 Fuji GFX50R is the easiest to use, gives the sharpest photos and nicest noise grains but no faster wide angle lenses than f4 available. 🔴 Sony’s latest A7R IV stands in the middle, despite the 61mpx, it’s tiny yet menus and controls are surprising much improved, but too much noise even at ISO3200. 🔴 Fuji X-T4 is also compact and easy to use but full frame image quality is still noticeably more suited for night photography.................. #leicasl2#sonya7riv#fujixt4#fujigfx50r#leicam7#leicam7blackpaint
