Creamy Garlic Parmesan Brussels Sprouts & Bacon will become your NEW favourite way to eat Brussels Spouts! Pan fried Brussels sprouts and bacon baked in a cheesy creamy garlic sauce, and topped with bubbling mozzarella and parmesan cheese!
Ingredients • 10 ounces (300 g) bacon, cut into strips • 2 tablespoons butter • 2 pounds (1 kg) Brussel sprouts, washed, (trim bottoms and cut sprouts in half) • Salt and pepper to season • 5 cloves garlic finely chopped • 1 1/2 cups (400 ml) light or heavy cream, (thickened cream) • 1 1/2 teaspoons cornstarch mixed with 1 tablespoon water (cornstarch slurry -- optional) • 1/3 cup fresh shredded or grated mozzarella • 1/4 cup fresh shredded or grated parmesan cheese
1. Preheat oven to 375°F | 190°C.
2. Fry the bacon in a large oven-safe skillet over medium heat until crispy. Use a slotted spoon to transfer to a paper towel lined plate to soak up some of the oil. Set aside.
3. Drain most of the bacon fat from the pan, leaving about 1-2 tablespoons for added flavour (adjust this amount to your liking). In the same pan, melt the butter, then add the Brussels sprouts and season with salt and pepper. Scrape up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan, and cook while stirring occasionally, for about 6 minutes. The edges should start crisping and slightly charring.
4. Add in the garlic and stir it through the sprouts for a minute, until fragrant. Pour in the cream, reduce heat down to low and allow them to simmer until tender (another 3-4 minutes). 5. If the cream is too thin for your liking, add in the cornstarch slurry, stirring it through immediately, until combined.
6. Add the bacon in and give everything a good mix to combine all of the flavours together. Top the sprouts with the mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. Bake until cheese is bubbly and sprouts are done to your liking (about 15 minutes). If you like your cheese browned, change oven settings to broil for 2-3 minutes, until golden.
7. Season with a little extra pepper, if desired, before serving. You can also sprinkle with fresh chopped parsley, thyme or rosemary.

Buffalo chicken stuffed Jalepenos wrapped in bacon 😋 Is there ever a bad time to wrap something in bacon? 😂
Recipe By 👉 @ketosnackz
Recipe for buffalo chicken dip:
8 oz fully cooked chicken breast
1/4 cup sour cream
4 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup hot sauce or buffalo sauce
Seasonings of your choice
Optional: 2-4 tbsp shredded cheddar
1. Preheat oven to 350F
2. Let cream cheese soften (I just microwaved on defrost setting for 1 minute).
3. Mix all ingredients in baking dish and bake for 15-20 minutes. .
Recipe for the Jalepenos:
6 Jalepenos peppers
6 slices of bacon
Buffalo chicken dip
1. Preheat oven to 350F. Cook the bacon half way. Make it more done on one side so when you wrap the Jalepenos that side can be facing inward.
2. Cut the Jalepenos in half length wise and remove the insides. (Use a spoon or it will burn your fingers lol)
3. Fill each jalepeno half with the buffalo chicken dip. Wrap with half a slice of bacon. Bake for 20-25 minutes. You can broil the last 2 minutes for the burnt vibe .
Macros: For 4 jalepeno halves.
Recipe makes 3 servings.
Net carbs: 1.8
Notes: I just used leftover buffalo chicken dip, but if you’re making it all at once, you might not need to bake it as long initially. I’m not sure though. .

Lunch today was 1 chicken thigh, about 1.5 cups kale, half a small carrot (25g), and 1 tbsp avocado oil mayo. I also had plain green tea. The carrot can obviously be omitted but I took a half bc it came fresh from farm.

#musaka with cauliflower instead of potatoes. Its so delicious i love it better than the real thing.
For those who don’t know what Musaka is.
Sauté onions and ground beef.
Than in a pan cut up the cauliflower, carrots, peppers, celery than dump the sauté ground beef and onions on top and mix. Pour in cup of broth or some water and bake 🤗 mix couple times to make sure all the water is gone and everything has been cooked. You can pour yogurt and egg mixture on the whole thing on top and bake for a little more to make it closer to Musaka. But if dairy free leave it out. .

Torta de Legumes⠀
150g de brócolis cozido⠀
150g de couve flor cozida⠀
150g de cenoura cozida⠀
250g de bacalhau cozido e desfiado⠀
150g de requeijão de corte ou um pote de cream cheese⠀
Cebola e alho a gosto⠀
Temperos a gosto⠀
Parmesão e tomates cerejas para finalizar.⠀
Modo de Preparo:⠀
Bater no liquidificador os ovos + couve flor + requeijão + cebola e alho + sal/pimenta. Misturar a massa o bacalhau desfiado + brócolis + cenoura + temperos. Colocar tudo em uma refratária untada com azeite, por fim decorar com tomates cerejas e parmesão ralado. Forno 200 graus ate dourar. Use a sua imaginação e troque a proteína ou mesmo os legumes.⠀

Pizza Chaffles 🤤🍕✨
Going back to a favorite recipe for lunch today. I always wish I made more than 2 when I whip these up— they’re so good!! Considering making some pesto chicken pizza chaffles 🤔...

Its National Pasta Day - and of course we are celebrating it with this creamy & dreamy pasta dish with blackened scallops. Who’s ready to celebrate??
Here is the full recipe, also posted on our co-founder’s page, @ShredHappens
1.Cook 2-3 servings of @almondlovewith according to the directions. I went with the soft method, so I just soaked the pasta in water for 5-6 minutes while water was boiling and then boiled it for 11 minutes.
2.While the pasta was cooking, I made the sauce. I started by melting 2.5 tablespoons of butter in a sauce pan, adding 2 cups of @josiesorganics spinach, and mixing for 1 minute.
3.After 1 minute, I added 1.5 tablespoons of cream cheese and mixed everything well for a couple of minutes, then added 1/2 cup cream, 1/2 cup of shredded parmesan, and a couple of crushed garlic cloves. Mix well on low.
4.Give your sauce a taste and at this point you can add some salt, pepper, garlic powder, chili flakes, lemon zest, or some fresh herbs. You do you!
5.Once the pasta is boiled, strain, add a couple tablespoons of the pasta water to the sauce to lighten it up if needed, and add the pasta to the sauce and cook for another minute or so together to get the flavors going.
6.Eat as is, or top with your favorite protein. I added some @sizzlefishfit scallops that I blackened. You can eat it with your fav protein or eat as is.

I debated all day if I was going to post this. I did decide that with my new found self-acceptance that I have to also step out of my comfort zone.
For so long I hid myself from those that aren't around me. I posted pictures with just the right angles, hid my "chinsneck" because I was ashamed of what I let happen to myself. The before picture was just taken in October 2018. The after was taken on January 9.

Hey guys here are some my favourite foods that I will eat before I workout.
Fuelling my body with proper nutrition before working out will allow me to train harder and make the most of my workout.
While we all have different nutritional requirements, these known foods which have the perfect balance of fats, carbs and protein - they can stave off hunger, fuel your body, fight fatigue and even aid recovery.
At the moment I am training and focusing on building muscle 💪 so here are some of my favourite pre-workout foods.
Yoghurt 🍓+ Fruits.
The fruit is full of carbohydrates while greek yogurt packs a protein-filled punch and sliced almonds as they are a great source of fat + protein.
Oats🌾. Oats are full of fibre they will release carbohydrates gradually.
Due to this slow release, energy levels are kept consistent throughout your workout, meaning you can train harder for longer.
Whole grain bread 🍞 + peanut butter + bananas.
Whole grain bread and banana are an excellent source of carbs. Peanut butter good source of fat.
Bananas 🍌 .
Known as nature’s power bar, bananas are packed with carbohydrates and potassium, which supports nerve and muscle function.
Trail Mix 🥜. Nuts do have a high-fat content, but they provide the protein and calories required if you are trying to gain muscle mass. For those whose goal is weight loss, steer clear.
Apples 🍎 + Peanut Butter.
The apple provides carbohydrates and the peanut butter provides protein and healthy fats.

⭐️If you take any burger and order it plain and without a bun, you’ll have an instantly keto-friendly meal! In most cases, your burger will be served over lettuce. If you need to eat it on the go, you can wrap the burger in lettuce and be on your way!🥬
⭐️By eliminating the bun and condiments, you are virtually eliminating all of the carbs. If you order anything with cheese, it will add 2g of carbs, so be mindful of that decision! But a double cheeseburger will only run you 4g of carbs with the cheese, which is very easy to fit into any plan.🧀
⭐️Of course, you may just want to enjoy a Big Mac. And while you may be thinking that a Big Mac just isn’t the same without the bun, you’re mistaken! The “special sauce” is truly what makes this burger so great, and if you order yourself a Big Mac without the bun, but leave the sauce on, you will still only have about 7g of total carbs!
. ⭐️McDonald’s does have its fair share of fried foods, and while many of those options are very high carb, there are a few that you can still enjoy. The Filet-O-Fish and McChicken are both relatively higher carb, but at 10g or less, you can definitely make them work. Anything fried is going to have added carbs due to the breading, so if you can help it, try to stick with grilled burgers or chicken to save yourself some carbs!✔️
