We had the best time with these two roaming around soho 👫🏻 They were so cuddly & playful - complete naturals in front of the camera 📸 Sometimes a walk through the neighborhood, a ride on the subway, and a quick stop for ice cream is the formula for a perfect engagement session 🍦
Engagement session season is almost here! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
Warmer temperatures are coming and that means, engagement sessions! Most couples wait until the trees and grass are green again and it’s warmer outside to schedule engagement sessions.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
But my tip is to reach out about 2-3 months before to reserve a date! That way, I don’t book up during your ideal time for photos! And we ALWAYS schedule a rain date too, just in case ;) #tinaelizabethphotography#tepbridaltips#nycengagementphotos

I believe that it’s so important to constantly learn and grow as a photographer, actually I believe that to be true in any field you are in. You become better in so many ways and gain confidence that sometimes feels nonexistent especially when you’re first starting out.
I have found mentorships to be incredibly beneficial in my growth. I am learning from someone who has been where I am and can share their own experiences as well as perspective to what can be done to improve.
A mentor can give you honest feedback that you may not get from anywhere else. They also help build community in an industry that feels lonely at times.
I am all for investing in yourself and your business. Find yourself a mentor you vibe with and allow yourself to be vulnerable and open to change. You will not regret it.
I am grateful for the recent mentorship I had with @cheyannadenicolaphoto she is kind, patient, super talented and someone I feel lucky to have had the opportunity to learn from.
Grandparents are a true gift. I only had one living grandparent and the time I had with Clementina Mosca is everything to me. She visits me in my dreams now that she’s gone and I still find ways she impacts my life. I can hear her singing Que Sera Sera when I’m down, I play Gin Rummy with Ben when I’m missing her and I still put jimmies on my ice cream bowls. None of that means anything to you but Nana is also the reason I focus on capturing grandparents at weddings in any capacity I can.
It's Thursday- which means I blogged again!! I am going to try to make this a weekly thing as long as I can... I have SO. MUCH. TO. SHARE.
How do you guys feel about blog posts?? Old news? Love them?! I'd really like to know! They take quite a bit of time to put together, but I always love seeing others and think it's so important to see more than just a handful of images (instagram is tricky that way)...
So much love to these two sweet souls!! They made my job a piece of cake this afternoon, rain and all ;)
Central Park and formal wear go (very) well together 🖤

To say I am excited to work with these two again for their wedding later this year would be an understatement! Their love was calm, kind, easy, and a dream to document ❤

I always talk about how much I love New York City and how I work there as often as possible. When Midori and Will took me back to Top of the Rock for their engagement session, I was overjoyed! A view like this will never lose it's magic. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Obligatory Happy Valentine’s Day post from your neighborhood wedding photographer. Witnessing love each + every day brings me so much joy. Thank you to all of my clients for inviting me to capture all the big + little things that make their love unique 🖤
What’s Galentine’s day? Only the best day of the year! Ladies celebrating ladies 🥳
If you know me, you know I’m obsessed with Parks and Rec and that I love Galentine’s day 🥰
it’s also no secret that girl squads are one of my favorite things about wedding days. all your best girls around ya, celebrating ya. What could be better?! These two photos come from one of my fave girl squads of last year’s weddings.
And I wanted to share these to highlight my main philosophy when it comes to wedding photography - you can have the candid style unposed look AND the fierce editorial vibes ☺️
So Excited as we start to plan out our Summer plans! We will be heading back to NYC in June around Father’s Day weekend. Let me know if you’d like to set up a session l - I may have time for one or two while we are there.
I photographed these two wonderful women on their elopement years ago, and they’ve come back to NYC from New Zealand a few times; each time I’ve gotten them in front of my camera (I *love* when my clients come back to see me!) #AmberMarlowCouples

Engagement sessions on the Highline are always a treasure. The best part is this is just blocks from where they first met ♥️ #jennasalvaginphotography
Have you truly had an NYC engagement session if you didn't take a photo in front of your favorite bagel spot? ;)
New Yorkers- we all have our favorite bagel place right? And our go-to order? It's basically a rite of passage living in the city!!
I love how each engagement ring has a story attached to it and it shows a little piece of your personality

Engagement sessions are such a beautiful ‘practice run’. The images are a nice touch for save-the-dates and it’s a perfect chance for you to really get to know how your photographer operates, discover flattering angles for your wedding day, and get comfortable in front of the camera.
Happy Wedding Day to our very own Rachel & Michael! We had our first call with Rachel only 4 short months ago and knew from then that we would be over the moon to work with them. Rachels intentionality combined with her love for design, Charleston and excitement to create something so unique was something we were so attracted to. 💛
From Icelandic poppies in ikebana arrangements, pressed floral cake by @vanillaandthebean, handwritten menus and curated welcome bags including watercolor tags by us, it is a wedding that we cannot wait to share! 💫
Thank you so much @kyleeyeephoto for the introduction. Now... let's get you two married. 🍃 @rewphotos

Today I’m spending a cozy day inside with the fam. Mom and I are making ravioli and I’m excited to chow down. I’m also excited to drink all the wine and Prosecco in my house ASAP. ALSO I am so excited to watch the puppy bowl tomorrow. I have no idea what teams are even playing in the super bowl but I do know for a fact that I will be watching the puppy bowl with my puppies. ❤️

Central Park is a BEAUTIFUL spot for elopements & engagement sessions. This spot is underneath Bethesda Terrace which is right in front of Bethesda Fountain
I actually just learned this year that this was the spot that Blair and Chuck got married in Gossip Girl LOL. I have been shooting here for two years and never put that together until I saw someone post about it- anyone else remember that scene?!
Bethesda Terrace is a great location to get a variety of photos, you can shoot under the terrace, above it, in front of the fountain, on bow bridge which is SUPER close, and also head up to The Mall- which is the famous walkway framed by BIG american elm trees
Thinking about a shoot in Central Park? Don’t hesitate to DM me with any questions you may have!

I absolutely LOVE photographing engagement sessions, they are such a fun way to take a step back from all the wedding planning stress and actually celebrate your engagement together
My engagement photography style is all about this fun ‘flirty’ in-between moments where you two are laughing and having fun with each other. I’m all about taking authentic photographs and telling the story of your relationship

Does anyone else feel like after the holidays we should go straight into summer? I can’t wait for long nights again and sunsets like this.
I’m also looking forward to being out and about with Manny! We’ll hit the parks, beach, museums, you name it. When I was growing up in Brooklyn, my mom took me and my brothers everywhere so that we would never be bored. I’ve been to probably every museum in NYC and I can’t wait to spend my summer days doing the same with my little man.
We’re reminiscing about our own engagement shoot one year ago today! 🗓 We unintentionally picked one of the coldest days last winter for an outdoor session 🌬We made an impromptu rooftop climb to the beautiful @tomfruin watertower & were lucky enough that our photographer was as adventurous as us. We spent most of the shoot trying to keep each other warm but when we saw the photos, they were everything that we had hoped for! 🏙
I will never, ever get over the magic of natural light!! Maybe it's art school nerd talk, but I challenge you to go for a 30 min walk and pay attention (like actually really pay attention) to how light is hitting all the everyday objects you pass along the way. Notice shadows and reflections. Soft and harsh light. You'll see your neighborhood in a whole new way (and bonus, it's a fairly meditative practice!)
If you are up for it, dm me a photo you took with your phone of something you maybe saw a bit differently with this in mind!!
One of my favorite photos of the sweetest couple in the coolest engagement session location! Super excited to head back to NYC at the end of this month to meet a new #rmaybride and her fiancé for their engagement session 💍
I’m in a New York State I’d mind. Sharing some of my favorites from the last time I was in New York for Amanda and Jeremy’s engagement session! What are some of your favorite spots in New York? Grand central station is such an iconic venue. Always bustling with people, we used this to our advantage for this romantic shot!
