I det här lilla bageriet arbetar (och bor) 15 personer. De arbetar från sen kväll till tidig förmiddag för att kunna leverera 50 000 bröd per dag till kvartren runt stora moskén i Delhi. De arbetar 364 dagar om året. Håller bara ledigt under färg-festivalen Holi! #olddelhi#bakery#makingbread#freshbread#pinkpinktravel
Delhi Red Fort - the third UNESCO World Heritage site that I visited in Delhi is also a legacy of the Mughal empire. Build in the 17th century, the fort was designed as a fusion of Persian and Hindu traditions. The site holds an important historical role as India’s first Prime Minister, Jawaharlal Nehru, raised the Indian flag at the gate on August 15, 1947 (India’s independence day). This is now an annual event conducted by the Prime Minister of India.

|| Documenting places - Delhi || Matia Mahal
Sheermal is one of those food items that one would find usually in muslim neighborhoods/places especially during the month of Ramzaan.
While walking on the lane of Al-Jawahar and Aslam, you come across boys with plates in hands offering you to try a piece of this flat bread. It is 'Sheermal', a kind of sweet flatbread made with milk and saffron along with other things added in dough.
You can try a piece of different varieties at this shop and if you like then buy them or if not then you may move on. It is slightly sweetened and can be eaten just like that without any curry.
Unveiling CHATT AW 19
Chatt (AW 19-20) for me, has been a personal journey of finding a certain peace in the midst of daily chaos. A memory where neighbours became family with an adjoined terrace, and the nights were spent counting stars, finding constellations & writing innocent love letters on the last pages of my school note-book.
Winters are here and we can't wait to try Dault ke chaat...
PS : You might find so many vendors selling Daulat ki Chaat in Old Delhi, most of them are not worth trying...
If you really want to enjoy and have the best one you gotta try this at Rakesh Gupta, Just search it on Google maps from Chawri Bazar metro station and when you feel you are just around it and still cant find it ask locals about him.
