This temple is believed to be the place where Lord Shiva and Parvati got married. The Havan Kund present inside the temple is believed to have the celestial fire which is kept lit continuously, till date.
The Agni started during the Celestial Marriage in the presence of Brahma as Main Priest. It is therefore known as Agnikund.
The temple is a miniature of the Kedarnath Temple.
This temple has clean and peaceful surroundings.
There are 3 Holy kunds of water (Bramma, Rudra & Vishnu).
A platform where the marriage was believed to have been conducted decorates the temple premises.
You can do poojas and offer samagris to the agni kund in this temple.
The temple is aroud 13 km from sonprayag.
I am sure you will have the same satsifaction as i had after visiting this vibrant temple. One must see to believe.
I know it has been a while since I last posted. I have been going through an introspective journey. I have so many learning and lessons to share with you... Which I will in time. I will have a soft return. God willing.
Love you Bohemians.
I continue with the category "hard workers".
In Humahuaca I met Abel and Silvia. They also have two jobs. One is selling socks at the market. Their second job is selling cheesy tortillas rellenas until they sell out. Usually this happens late at night, but I would help them go home early by eating their tortillas 🤤😜.
Check out the video in my highlights if you want to see Abel and Silvia preparing the Argentinian street food! 😊
It made me curious. How many hours a week do you work? Do you have 1 or 2 jobs? And what do you think about a 50+ hour work week?
A vista é simplesmente incrível e é possível ver toda a cidade.
Hi travel gang! In my last post I said that I would answer some common questions that people have about visiting Cairo and the Great Pyramids of Giza. So here we go as promised:
* Is Egypt a dangerous country to visit? Yes, all countries on this planet are dangerous to visit, some more so than others. That being said, you need to exercise a fair amount of caution while in Cairo. * Would I recommend solo travel in Egypt? Well..... I am a small female and not only have I not died yet, but nothing even remotely bad has happened to me in Cairo. Mostly just a lot of catcalls in Arabic that I can’t understand. However, my “solo” trip isn’t exactly solo. I was lucky enough to meet @mina.n.w on the plane over to Cairo. He introduced me to his lovely friends, and I also have the best Airbnb host in the whole wide world. Local guidance is key to a successful trip to Egypt 😉
* How is the Airbnb experience in Cairo? Mine has been nothing short of amazing, because my host is an angel from heaven. Lol but seriously, she treats me like a sister and has been showing me unmatched hospitality, complete with traditional Egyptian breakfast. I chose a female host to stay on the safe side and I’m very happy that it all worked out perfectly.

CÓMO EMPEZASTE A VIAJAR SOLA🤔? NO TE SIENTES SOLA? 🤷
⚠️NO SIEMPRE IBA SOLA!
😞ME SIENTO SOLA?
ALGUNA VEZ ME SENTÍ REALMENTE SOLA?
TÚ CUANDO EMPEZASTE A VIAJAR [email protected]? 👇

🇺🇸 When was the last time you were really on your own? With no person miles around?
Traveling alone does not mean being alone, it means establishing an honest relationship with yourself, listening to the deepest of your thoughts, brainstorming, reflecting.
When was the last time you felt completely free? When was the last time you took a walk away from the city? La Paz, Bolivia millones has millions of inhabitants and eme here in Las Animas Valley, a beautiful and 0% tourist place. Sometimes you have to dare to do things on our own, you never know you'll be surprised at how good you can feel. Ask the locals and do it, because that's what life is about, doing things when you want at the time you want ... why not today when?
I arrived in this Valley taking a mini van to a small town called Ovejuyo, and from there I followed the map.
Do you rather do things on your own or on tour?

“If you reject the food, ignore the customs, fear the religion and avoid the people, you might as well stay home.” - James Michener ✨
First of all, how about these awesome photos?! Check out @ashshkna if you’re ever in Kazan and want some epic shots.
Second of all, in commentary with the above quote; how true it is that if you truly want to experience a place, you kind of have to LEAVE YOURSELF at home. Some of you may have noticed I haven’t been eating plant based, doing some forms of travel that have made me *uncomfortable* (lol) and genuinely going outside my comfort zone and approaching people on the street whether to do interviews or just find out more about where I am.
I am a genuine introvert where it honestly takes a lot for me to travel how I’ve been traveling. I’ve kind of been on the verge of a breakdown for the last couple weeks lol. It’s going to be good to slow down once I get to Kyiv, but I know I’m going to pull through.
Everyone has a different threshold for how uncomfortable they’re willing to get when traveling, but I think that travel without stretching yourself mentally, emotionally or physically is kind of pointless. Yes, laying on the beach is fantastic (and I should probably do it more) but it’s also very rewarding to evolve what you think is the ‘correct’ way to live.
To go to a country and actually adopt some of their ways of life is fascinating and eye opening. We all get so stuck in our bubbles of what is going on in the world and who’s the blame for what that we are incredibly narrow minded to what our worldly neighbours are ACTUALLY going through.
I’m grateful to Russia for giving me so many new perspectives and connecting me to my heritage in a very unique way 🇷🇺
I’ve got 2 more weeks left in this beautiful country and I’m going to make the most of it ❤️
