🇺🇸Happy Independence Weekend Friends!🇺🇸
The sun was finally out in full force and we had such a blast on the farm on the 4th!
I get asked a lot how we do all this and still say sane. 🤪 The truth is, it’s a lot of hard work opening up your home and hearts to people 7 days a week.
We have our good days and our bad days. Some days we want to quit, some days we wish we didn’t have to close at night. But the truth is we wouldn’t have it any other way.
Thanks for supporting us in real life and in these squares. You’re the reason we’re doing what we do! ❤️

Our circumstances changed, but our commitment didn’t. (Warning, honest post coming up)
Being forced to close your business due to circumstances completely out of your control is completely heart breaking and was really hard to deal with.
This made for pretty difficult times in our household. I definitely haven’t been a great partner or an amazing mother during this time. I found it hard to breathe, to sleep, to focus on the important things that mean most to me. I felt lost beyond measure.
Nothing could have prepared me for what we were faced to deal with during this time.
However, it taught me to be vulnerable, allow my life partner, my rock, my business partner, my teacher to guide me through these extremely tough times.
I can not be more thankful for this guy, I can safely say I would not be where I am without his guidance.
While we are backed by a big brand, we are still a family owned, small business. So a huge thank you for all of the love and support we got from our amazing members, friends and trainers during these unprecedented times.
These times have not been normal, so many of us have been struggling, so I ask, check on your friends, work colleges and loved ones. Be patient and most importantly, be kind! 😘
This week being back to our ‘new normal’ has been mind blowing. Seeing all of our smiling members and trainers so grateful to be back in studio has been heart warming.
Banana leaves are quite synonymous with the South, and where I come from (a place that’s a culturally ambiguous mix of Tamil & Malayali culture), the Banana plant is used in its entirety : stem, leaves, flowers and all that.
On this particularly rainy and lush day in Bangalore, I set out to make my first successful cane ever (that’s how I made them leaves) and that’s how these Elai earrings were born. (Elai means leaf in Tamil but can also mean banana leaf when used in certain contexts).
Granted, the leaves don’t look too much like banana, but I’m still super happy with the outcome!!
DM me if you’d like to own a pair of these earrings that make you feel like home 💕
