Since 1935, the Andreas Hotel and Spa has been the destination for celebrities escaping Hollywood, world travelers, local guests, and history buffs. This unique boutique hotel opened its doors in the 1930s offering all the amenities and services with air conditioning and a luxurious pool area.

This beautifully appointed suite celebrates The First Ms. Palm Springs, The first Rodeo Queen, and the first locally known ""blonde bombshell"" to accompany Bob Hope on the USO Tours. Van Doren herself provided memorabilia for decorating the balcony suite complete with a romantic fireplace.

Visitors have taken in the lovely architecture, unusual guest rooms with updated and large bathrooms, the inviting pool area, fireplaces in the suites, interesting lobby area, and the ample parking. The upstairs extended patio area has become the ""happening"" place for the perfect intimate wedding.

As the days turn to hours remaining onboard Britannia before I go on leave - being blessed with the best Caribbean weather in the oasis that is Bonaire.
Words just don't do this island any justice (and to be fair neither do my pictures) and love getting the chance to come back.

Lately it’s been a little trying as a mom with new seasons and attitudes that have come up in my kids. Most days I struggle keeping it all together. The last month I found myself in some pretty emotional and vulnerable mother states of not knowing what to do. ✨

Lately it’s been a little trying as a mom with new seasons and attitudes that have come up in my kids. Most days I struggle keeping it all together. The last month I found myself in some pretty emotional and vulnerable mother states of not knowing what to do. ✨

Motherhood has taught me some pretty tough life lessons but has strengthened me in ways too that i am grateful. It’s taught me who I truly am. ✨

Growing up I didn’t feel strong and brave in my own skin. Motherhood has taught me to be strong and brave in motherhood and and other areas of my life. ✨

Not everyday is perfect, as a matter of fact our Christmas tree the kids have rearranged the ornaments at least 50 times and are placed in non strategic order... sometimes I look at it catching myself wanting to put the ornaments back in their strategically placed order.... but than I think it’s just a tree so leave it alone. ✨
