Reactive Neuromuscular Training!
RNT requires an outside resistance to neurologically turn on an automatic response. Shown by the banded resistance “pulling” the knee valgus. While requiring the athlete to compensate and keep the knee tracking parallel against the resistance.
RNT exercises are designed to improve functional stability and enhance motor-control skills with an automatic response.
Training partners are awesome! There’s immense value in having someone who’s company you enjoy while training and who is happy to push you... 😁
Leveraging social support can also be incredibly useful from a coaching perspective in keeping people adherent to their training and nutrition.
Generally speaking, people who train together or commit to losing weight together tend to do better Vs those going it alone.
This is a big part of the success of our club... Having a shared training experience and seeing others achieve their goals is motivating, and on days when you don’t feel like pushing yourself there’s always a supportive crew on hand to help 👍

Part of working out and eating healthy is whatever outfit you put on your body you will make that shit look like a million dollar outfit. If it’s not on clearance I don’t have it or want it......And when I say clearance I mean out of season or last call.
so i’ve come across this quote several different times on my insta feed and other social medias that says, “how many of your have-to’s are actually get-to’s?” & it spoke volume to me. i realized that most of us struggle finding the time to take care of our responsibilities, leaving almost no time for us to do the things we actually enjoy. we hurry to cross tasks off our to-do list, most of them tasks we don’t enjoy whatsoever. we’re just so worried about passing that exam or getting that job or impressing others that we neglect our own personal interests.
i’m guilty of this too. i spend a lot of my days feeling obligated to participate in things that don’t make me happy. but i’m working to change that. what so many of us don’t realize is that we’re never going to gain the time back that we spend unhappy. so what are we making ourselves miserable for? is that one test really going to define how smart you are? does that other person’s opinion really even matter? i’m not saying to neglect your responsibilities. get your shit done. but quit driving yourself crazy thinking that you HAVE to be this flawless being in order to be successful. when you look back on your life, you sure as hell ain’t gonna remember all the little things you checked off that to-do list. you’re gonna remember the times you let yourself live. you’re gonna remember the times that you laughed so hard you couldn’t breathe and the times you felt your soul catching fire. let yourself do those things more often. 🦋
