“Rancho De Colores is a beautiful Airbnb is just a few minutes by car away from Joshua Tree Village Center and the perfect spot to base yourself for a desert retreat and a visit to Joshua Tree National Park.
The outside is the perfect spot for a photoshoot with multiple attractions on the three acre property. There’s a paint splattered car, a rainbow striped barnyard, a brightly colored piano, multi-colored panels, a rainbow themed fire pit, and more! Whether you’re taking photos for Instagram or want to photograph yourselves for one of a kind engagement announcements, you can capture memorable pictures here that you can’t take anywhere else. Doing a road trip in Australia might just be our biggest adventure yet!
Australia has some of the most beautiful landscapes, but also has the potential to have the most unforgivable environment.
We knew absolutely nothing about how to properly do a road trip. We didn’t even know where we could go. If you guys were not aware, Australia is SOOO much bigger than you could possibly think.
One day we just basically jumped straight into it. We bought a car; loaded it up with every possible thing we thought we might need; and we started driving.
We had no plans whatsoever. The only thing that kept us going was the amount of joy we were having while doing it. We learned so much along the way and it became one of the biggest adventures of our trip so far!
No... this isn’t a proposal photo! We just didn’t know how to pose for this.
We’re pretty new to this whole “Insta Couple” thing and we’re still playing around with different ideas as to how we want our page to look. We’re still experimenting with different filters, different grid layouts, and all that good stuff.
No, but really, we’re just having fun with it. We’ve been travelling together for as long as we’ve known each other and we’ve experienced a lot of cool things together. So we thought that starting a page together would be a good way to share our story. It’s also a fun way to connect with others who have similar stories.
With that being said, can anyone give us advice on how to take cute couple photos? 😅
Traveling long term means that you’re always on the move. With that being said, constantly looking for somewhere to spend the night or two in becomes a part of your daily life.
So far we have stayed in a lot of different places since we started traveling together. They range from really good accommodations to sleeping on the airport floor. It all becomes a part of the whole travel experience.
This bungalow for example was one of the better options we’ve recently had. We had a huge private bungalow with an outdoor shower and delicious breakfast served every morning by the pool! Staying in a bungalow always feels so tropical and exotic!
Here is a list of other types of accommodations we’ve stayed at:
7. House (Airbnb/Couchsurfing)
8. Airport (Not really an accommodation, but an overnight layover)
9. Night Bus
10. Our Jeep, converted into a mobile home!
What type of accommodation do you prefer?
We’re celebrating today because we just signed a lease on an adorable house in Anchorage!🥳 It’s way way more than we wanted to spend on rent but it checked literally all our boxes (close to parks and trails, safe neighborhood, backyard for the pup, full of natural light) and then some (fireplace, grill, a king bed🙌🏼), but most importantly - it has a heated garage! There was no way Justine would ever want to live in Alaska again if we didn’t have a garage for the winter😅. It’s even got a spare bedroom so hopefully one day (soon🤞🏼) we can have friends & fam come visit us up here!
