Throwback to our team retreat in January 2020 where we headed to Taiwan for a much needed break from our constant hustle 🤼🤼

Watching this brings nostalgic tears because Covid 19 wasn't even a word back then. 🥺
We spent a total of 5 days together with the team with the last day for a team goal setting and meeting. Goal setting is really important for us because it gave us very clear direction on what needed to be done to achieve this and even in during/after Covid-19, we are still working on our direction and goals. 💪💪
In fact, the covid 19 has given us so much needed time to restructure our daily operations, revamp our social media and concrete action plans that we could act upon.
How has the Covid-19 affected or helped you? We'd really like to know.
The Thoughtful Guide to Palermo⠀
🔷1 14th July means one thing only to Palermitani: the annual celebration of their beloved patron saint, Santa Rosalia. So, in honour, we bring you our Palermo thoughtful guide.⠀
🔷2 The Santa Rosalia Festival, which sees the relics of the santuzza paraded through the town's central thoroughfares, dates all the way back to 1624 and is a must-see for anyone staying nearby in the middle of July.⠀
🔷3 Palermo, the regional capital of Sicily, is one of those cities with a very distinct, almost tangible atmosphere, a place of mystery, where reality often outperforms the traveller’s imagination and preconceived stereotypes.⠀
🔷4 Its strategic position at the heart of the Mediterranean brought wave upon wave of invaders and the result of this quilted history is evident today in the vast range of architectural styles, the intriguing fusion of ingredients used in many local dishes, and in the many place names whose etymology bypasses Italian linguistic traditions.⠀
🔷5 The often faded grandeur of many of Palermo’s wonderful palazzi and churches in the centre gives way to popular areas where the way of life doesn’t fully belong to the 21st century. This is particularly true of the markets, whose Arabic origins are still evident today thanks to their noise, aromas and colours, their narrow labyrinthine streets, the exotic array of food on display, and their souk-like atmospheres.⠀
🔷6 Artistic delights abound at every corner, maybe most strikingly in the marvels of the city's Arab-Norman architecture. In 2015, Arab-Norman Palermo and its neighbouring cathedrals were granted status as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. ⠀
🔷7 At the end of the 19th century, Palermo was one of Europe's most fashionable cities. Its vastly wealthy entrepreneurs commissioned the construction of sumptuous Art Nouveau-style villas, theatres, kiosks and hotels, attracting visits from distinguished guests and international celebrities in the process.⠀
🔷8 Stay at our villa Minerva, a short drive away from Palermo and situated in Mondello’s most exclusive residential area, a short walk away from a gorgeous long sandy beach. ⠀
