I just love Spain!! The food is amazing, the drinks are amazing and the beaches are amazing!
Now, whilst this is all true (I really do love Spain!) It turns out that Berlin actually has really amazing Tapas! The Markethalle Neun, has some of the best food I have ever eaten!
For some reason I had never really discovered market halls in Europe until my most recent trip. They are one of the most epic things to do in a city. It is a great option to try lots of new and local foods that are made with local produce.
The food hall in Berlin was such a beautiful one. It felt like a little hidden spot in the middle of Berlin.
What are your recommendations for trying local foods?
“Quiet friend who has come so far, feel how your breathing makes more space around you. Let this darkness be a bell tower and you the bell. As you ring, what batters you becomes your strength. Move back and forth into the change. What is it like, such intensity of pain? If the drink is bitter, turn yourself to wine. In this uncontainable night, be the mystery at the crossroads of your senses, the meaning discovered there. And if the world has ceased to hear you, say to the silent earth: I flow. To the rushing water, speak: I am.”

"The Galtaji Temple in Jaipur, India, is well known for its colonies of playful monkeys and natural freshwater springs that filter into its seven water tanks (or ‘kunds’ as they are better known as). Daily, you can find Hindu Pilgrims bathing in the bodies of water that are believed to wash away one’s sins. After completing a workshop that I was leading, I decided to extend my trip in the Pink City to explore more of what the area has to offer. I have visited Jaipur many times, but I always make an effort to uncover enchanting new places to photograph. On this morning, we were one of the few foreigners to visit the temple, which allowed us to immerse ourselves into the local culture. We were even able to witness a large group of monkeys roaming playfully in their natural element. India is one of my favorite places to visit due to its stark nuances. With the combination of history, culture, colors, and contrast between old and new, India remains one of the most captivating countries I have visited.” 📷@humminglion 📍Jaipur, India 🇮🇳 Want to discover more of Jaipur’s architectural masterpieces? It was 65 degrees and sunny yesterday and today it snowed. I’m looking forward to more sunny days outside, with flowers blooming and birds chirping. Is there anything better than walking through nature or sitting on the porch soaking in the sunshine on a nice day? ☀️
As I wait for better weather, I’m sitting on my couch eating butterfinger eggs because Easter candy is the best candy! What’s your fav Easter candy or tradition? 🐰
30 today! Wow - sounds kind of weird when I say it. I know it’s just a number, but it feels like it holds more weight to it, in a good way. I don’t feel any different, only in the sense that I’ve entered a new decade. 🎈
The day is only half done, but this has been, most probably, the best birthday ever despite the fact that I can’t see my friends. I’m on a complete high from the outpouring of love today and couldn’t ask for anything more. This day has been, in a word, blissful. 🥀

Memories from sunny Prague last year. We visited the city on a weekend and it was completely packed. You could hear English, Russian, French, but mostly German when walking down the streets.
I desperately wanted to see Charles Bridge. But after spending just a few minutes there, I said, “Never mind. Let’s go somewhere else, somewhere where there’s not so many people.”
After the past few weeks, I guess, I’ll never ask for a place with less people. I’m pretty sure I’ll accept any place in the world just as it is. #prague#culturalexplorer#czechrepublic
This photo is not from my first week in Spain - but my new blog post is! Wondering what your first week abroad might be like? Check out what I thought then.
The link is in my bio:
Have you ever lived/ are living abroad? How have things changed for you? What do you wish you could go back in time and tell yourself? (Mine would be don’t waste any time lesson planning)
At once lunar-like, foreign, and delicately familiar, Iceland is a landscape like nothing else. It is the exquisite and unadulterated expansiveness that takes the breath and boggles the mind; truly akin to walking on another planet.

Yesterday I ran to the top of San Francisco's Twin Peaks and honestly felt so ALIVE after a rainy weekend stuck inside. Sweet fresh air and sooooo much vitamin D (I got ridiculous short + sports bra tan lines 🙈) - loved it! 🍃🌞🙌🏻

So many setbacks. Countless questions. Endless problems. Constant prayers. Yet, plenty to be thankful for. Although it may not seem like it sometimes, there's still much good to look forward to. ❤

Bicycles, baguettes and....champagne! Some of my favourite things about Paris! There is something just so exciting about being in Paris, I always feel like a little kid looking up at the Eiffel Tower!
Although, there is something super embarrassing about being passed on the stairs by two of the cutest people in their 70s!! This was my third visit to Paris and I felt like such a local going to the bakery in the morning and ordering in perfect French (of course, the friendly laughter from the lady behind the counter makes me think perhaps my French wasn’t actually what perfect) before taking it back to our hostel!
To me, Paris just seems like the perfect place. The streets are adorable, the locals actually ride bikes with baguettes in theirs baskets, the cafes are gorgeous, the buildings are older than my country and the champagne is so much better than I ever thought it would be.
To me, Paris is always a great idea! Picnicking in the gardens with a bottle of wine and a beautiful platter or drinking champagne at the moulin rouge!! I know a lot of people don’t like Paris....but what are your thoughts on Paris?

Once known as Kampong Haji, Bussorah Street was reputed for its sheikh hajis (pious men known in the community for their knowledge of the haj) who would prepare the pilgrims for their journey. Pilgrims from the rest of Southeast Asia would stay in Bussorah Street while waiting for the kapal haj (pilgrim ship)

I’ve been home for about a couple of weeks and I already miss travelling. Or even just the process of planning a trip and the feeling of looking forward to it. The world’s gone so quiet now...
