I am now running the clinic full time from the virtual world. Some of you have already had sessions with me online, (so you can skip this paragraph :)) but some of you may not know...I have been doing sessions online for a while, but clearly running them 100% online due to our current situation.
To put your mind at ease, the sessions are ‘almost’ structured exactly the same as they are in a clinic session. They are also just as powerful. In fact I believe they have even more benefits. 💜You are in the comfort of your own home/office. 💜You have the option to block out some extra personal time after the session to allow the awareness gained and the corrections to take effect without rushing back to hurried life.
💜If the sessions end via meditation, we will just disconnect and allow you to ‘come to’ in your own time.
💜You can totally wear your Pyjamas.
Everything is energy. So there are no boundaries even via distance.
If you have any questions on this then of course send me a message and I am happy to explain it to you.
Trust me, you will love them just as you do in the clinic.

I understand we are all in trying times at the moment. Our stress levels are possibly off the wall.
I believe that maintaining our energy and self care practices are really the priority. If we become broken during these crazy times the climb back will be harder.
Please take some time to ground and centre your energy. Trust me a little goes a really long way.
looks like the way to hell? but it’s not! remember that orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. this color represents determination, success, encouragement... orange is a symbolic of strength and endurance. it’s perfect to nowadays. Let’s oranging! 🔥💥🍊

It’s easy to confuse self-worth with net-worth. You’re net-worth does not define your value! You are so worthy... don’t be discouraged if you hear a lot of “No’s” or “You don’t have” instead use that as fuel to position yourself where NO ONE can tell you NO again. You know who you are, what your worth is and is not defined by the dollar amount in your bank account. 1. Write your financial goals 2. Create a timeline 3. Put it into action⠀ ⠀
Can you live here for 3 years ?

Trust the process no matter how hard it may be.
Nothing is expected to be easy.
We have to take a step outside of our comfort zones and take chances.
Trust yourself, stay focused, and enjoy the journey as it unfolds!
Freshman William Monroe with his video check-in of Burgener Clean Warm-up drills. The goal is to be able to perform the movement as close to perfect with a stick, a bar, or weight. It should ALL look EXACTLY the same. Nice work William!!! #BoughtIn#TrustTheProcess
It gives you a target to work towards to consistently improve
Apply this to yourself and say you aim to improve on something by 1% every day, that's 365% over a year.
1% mightn't seem a lot but 365% is
On the flip, if your goal declines by 1% each day, that's a big loss over a year "Sit an ice cube at -10c, nothing happens. Raise it by 1c, nothing happens. Again, again, again. Only from 0c to 1c does it start to melt, the process is the same as before but only now you notice it, the temperature has not changed though!" As humans we are the same,we set goals but not everyone accomplishes them while others do
The difference ye see mo chara is some of us have goals while others have processes to achieve them
It's like having a destination to go to without a road map of how to get there. If you only have a goal and no process to follow - it's going to be pretty damn hard to achieve And even if you have no specific goal and you just have great daily processes you're in a better position than 90% of others
I loved a good process when I worked running maintenance teams - Everything was very reactive
So my approach was 1% marginal gains
It didn't happen overnight
And others including myself got frustrated and impatient with the journey
But things improved, Downtime decreased, Productivity improved, Morale improved, Spending decreased to implement on the right things
You see those marginal wins over time reap huge rewards
Process doesn't sound as sexy as the glitz on social media
But it works!!✅ Most of your history of failed diets are because you strive for massive changes that yield small results It's the tiny changes you make on a daily basis like ●Tracking food
●Getting that training session in
●Maintaining NEAT levels
There's nothing here that you wouldn't say is too daunting would you?
I'm the same lads,
Looking at my own business, fitness and nutrition
Was I following my process?
Was the process working?
Take a step back, make the changes
AND EXECUTE!!! Don't fret too much about your goals today - focus on your process!!
Alan Alda said, “Leave the city of your comfort zone and go into the wilderness of your intuition. What you’ll discover will be wonderful. What you’ll discover is yourself”. .
Yoga talks a lot about the sun (energy); an active force, external in focus. It also talks about the moon (mind); gentle and reflective. The sun is important because its dynamism propels us forward but it can also be destructive when the things it contacts overheat or burn out. The moon, then, is important. Its cool, tranquil quality tempers the heat of the sun. The moon gives us a more internal orientation and an opportunity to seek guidance from within.
Nature doesn’t let us focus outward forever. For every expansion there is contraction. For every contraction there is expansion. It’s as true for our heartbeat as it is for our breath as it is for the seasons. It’s also why, after a time of outward focus, nature forces us inwards.
Pratyahara, in yoga, is refers to the internalisation of our senses’ More literally, it means, ‘to not eat’ or ‘to not consume’. It acknowledges our tendency to gobble up sensory experiences so our attention is perpetually drawn outwards. Pratyahara releases us of this urge. It teaches us to leave the world alone for a time and withdraw.
The reason we turn in is to remember. We rest in the space between ‘what was’ and ‘what’s to come’. It’s a moment of dormancy, incredibly fertile, because it’s inside this space that ideas grow shoots that will - in time - begin their journey towards the sun.
And so the pulsation between contraction and expansion will begin again, afresh.
Deadlift Day! Heaviest I've been since December and didnt feel too bad. Top single today was 590 with a shit load of back downs afterwards. Shout out to @that_af_guy_rob for recording and hyping me up.
Best way to start the day! How’s everyone doing a few weeks into lockdown?
Have you been able to create new habits to elevate your soul?
Or feeling a bit stuck confused and anxious?
Mental, emotional and spiritual fitness is what it’s all about right now.
See this as an opportunity - we’re all here going through this for a reason.
And that is for the growing of our consciousness.
To see beyond the material world and into the energetic and spiritual realms that under pin it all.
The more you can lean into trust, intuition and meditation right now the better.
This is a time to go way way in there. Follow your heart. Feel grateful to be alive. Wonder why you’re here... I’ve been working on my legacy projects... projects that have been in my system for the last 7 years but not had the space to fully emerge and now they’re being squeezed out of me.
Of course it’s taking longer than I thought and so I want to know... are you needing to learn meditation right now?
Are you doing guided meditations but not really getting into the depth of who you are?
If the guidance went away could you meditate on your own and feel confident you know what you’re doing?
Let me know as I my live course @addictedtobeing wraps up next week and I’m open to running another one if you want more support during this time ✨✨✨ Drop me a DM to find out more...

There is a point in eating disorder recovery where the body starts to acknowledge and react to you eating a bit more, cutting back on exercise, challenging your ED ‘behaviours’...Maybe your temperature begins to regulate a bit better, maybe you have a little more energy, maybe your organs aren’t struggling as much. These signs of recovery are not signs you should stop pushing but rather extra incentive to keep going and to fight even harder for full recovery.
Your body is on your side, it’s desperately trying to heal. Give it the support it needs by resting, taking a break from exercise and eating (without restriction!) and your body will do the rest 😊
When we are having a challenging conversation with someone, it can feel like we are coming up against a shower of arrows being fired at us. It is very tempting to fight arrows with arrows (or fire with fire!). But this way, both parties lose. When there is a difficult conversation, we have to learn to reach past the arrows and stand beside the archer who is firing them. We must try to understand why those arrows are being fired, and what the archers motivations are. Perhaps they are sad? Or scared? We can all empathise with these emotions, the arrows of a sad or scared archer suddenly aren't as sharp.
#DueDate is TODAY 🤎🤎!! Although, Im not sure how she feels about putting timelines on her (she’s already like me... LAWD 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️) but I trust she knows the perfect moment to make her entrance ✨✨... .
Brian and I have been enjoying this time together at home, it’s seriously has been a blessing in so many ways. We were hit in different forms but I know God is a RESTORER 🙏🏾🙏🏾 ...He has brought us so much closer to Him and given us so much peace and comfort about everything it’s incredible 🙌🏾🙌🏾😩😩. .
One word that constantly comes in my head is “Surrender”. I am not in control of when she comes (or clearly how she’s going to come) but I trust God is making it a beautiful experience.... and I can not WAIT to be apart of it. #trusttheprocess

today i sat in grief.
when the morning began i wouldn’t have been able to tell you that’s what i was feeling. i didn’t have a name for it.
i felt off.
a bit hopeless.
i started writing, which has been my medium during this pandemic.
i started to feel hopeless and frustrated. frustrated at friends trying to get me to see the positive. i wanted to stay in it. to let it come up. and it did.
and i cried.
i cried as i wrote.
i realized that i have never grieved because i never understood what it meant. it’s a place i have never traveled before. and i realized today it can look like anything and i don’t need to understand it.
today i grieved over never being able to be a child. watching all the parents via social media doing crafts with their kids during this time. feeling angry and sad i never had that.
i cried that the life i built is no longer there. where i went nearly every day for the past eight years to earn money may not be there. the job that got me out of debt. that paid for my college. that paid for my wedding. it most likely won’t be there anymore.
as i venture into these feelings again I’ll bring myself back to my point. grief does not have one way. one definition. a single map to feel and release. it is simply feeling the feelings. whatever they are. whichever way they show up. Grief is simply allowing yourself the space to feel without judgement.
Small Forward Rankings for 2020.
Although he makes athletic plays around the basket, Miles Bridges still has a very raw offensive skill set without the ability to make 3-point shots or defend at a reasonable level. All of Bridges volume has gone up at the expense of his efficiency from his rookie year.
Despite the hopeful shooting, Alec Burks hasn’t been anything to write home about with Philadelphia. He’s a solid scorer and a capable 3-point shooter, but doesn’t provide quite the level of efficient offense to impact a really good team. He was somehow Golden State’s best player during stretches of the season, which inflates his production beyond what’s realistic for him.
