Florence, Italy 🇮🇹
Florence is renowned as one of the most cultural and historical cities in the world and is packed full of amazing architecture. During ancient history, Florence was once a Roman city and then developed into a thriving medieval commune.
The best things to do in Florence:
Florence cathedral Santa Maria del Fiore is simply known as the jewel of city. It is located in the centre of the old city.
Giotto's Campanile is connected to the cathedral however it is a separate building in its own right. You can clim the 414 steps in the tower for fantastic view of Florence.
Palazzo Vecchio is the most importance administrative building in Florence. If you watched the movie Inferno you saw the Palazzo Vecchio.
Ponte Vecchio is famous and old bridge. History records date the bridge as early as 996 but its true origin is unclear.
Piazza della Signoria is the place where you can find an amazing grand statue of Cosimo Medici.
Piazzale Michelangelo offers the best view of Florence and it is must to see.
One of my favourite views 🌊✨
I could literally go back to Big Sur a million times and never get tired of it. It’s so incredibly beautiful and calming ! My favourite spots are Bixby Bridge, Mcway Falls and Pfeiffer Beach. One of the best road trip route !🚗❤️
