Well figured I'd share this squat session. Went for power last night. Had my first squat fail in probably a year so SMDH... 😫😩 Honestly pretty much always know my limits but for once miscalculated by just a smidge not thinking about being down 10 pounds. 😬 However the rest of the workout was redemption to the fullest so I can't be mad. It was definitely a fight of an attempt... 😳 Warm ups were 2x10 136, 1x5 186, 1x5 226, 1x5 276, and 315 tempo single for beltless sets. Then did 346 tempo, 376 single, 406 single, 436 fail, 1x2 406, 1x5 365 (4 pauses), and 1x10 315 pauses. 💪 Congrats to @thabigdog32 for a 406 PR! Also congrats to my brother @danielmac_96 for a huge 425 PR! 🤘 You guys are on my ass now with SQUATS... 😅

Maybe some of you saw my story post on valentine’s day about blood pressure rx and how you couldnt love someone properly if your heart stopped... and while I was kinda joking... not really. And the exact same goes for enjoying life and its pleasures (like a week under the mexican sun).
High blood pressure comes with so many risks... not controlling it makes absolutely no sense to me... here are a few... Heart attack or stroke. ...

Weakened and narrowed blood vessels in your kidneys. ...
Thickened, narrowed or torn blood vessels in the eyes. ...
Metabolic syndrome. ...
Trouble with memory or understanding. ...

As a bodybuilder, the risks of blood pressure rising are pretty high, for many reasons. Mine was in the “not yet at risk but not excellent” kinda zone. I starter using @revive_md Blood Pressure Rx in september and I can tell you it works awesomely well because I am now in the “totally safe and normal” zone and my weight is higher than when my BP wasnt that hot.
I highly encourage everyone to check their blood pressure and if its high... take actions. (Optimal BP is 120/80)
