Dark crystal? .. Alas no more.🙄 I've poured a dragon, then poured the night king.. This one looked like a tatty haired long nose thing from the Dark Crystal to me. Confirmed by my daughter who grew up watching the original series, I loved it.. So did she!! Then during my #sheleeart experiments, I only accidently rested the base end wooden board on top somehow on one edge and the deepest gauge in half dried paint ruined it. I had to scrape it sadly! 😬

Just back from a two-day trip to our new home town! We’re making decisions around everything from roof tiles to light switches and it’s quite honestly way more exhausting than I ever imagined.. It’ll be glorious in the end I’m sure but the road ahead is looking quite long. Who else has built a house from the ground up? Or should I say - are there any survivors out there..? 😬
Ink work, still in progress... I thought I'd share with you how I started the stars on this one. I don't always do them this way, but in this case I started by just putting white paint dots where I wanted the biggest stars to be. Then there's blending, a lot of it, and going over them again and again (shown highly sped up, for a few stars only on this) then more little stars everywhere with white paint, and going over some spots with a white gel pen.
The sky changed again after that - as shown in the second pic. So before finishing it, I wonder if I should keep it all black and white, or add some colors?! Any thoughts?! ;) #art#ink#acrylic#landscape#stars#artvideo#painting#keeponcreating
Still have to add the kiss in the middle, but didn’t get a chance before I left for Texas. I really had fun doing this it was a lot easier/faster than I thought it would take me. Thankfully sharpies worked well on top of the acrylic pour painting the details with acrylic would have been very tedious!
