People often ask me how I keep all my plants alive. It’s been a journey learning how to stop them from dying. Each one has its own special needs and it takes time to learn them. I water them weekly, some of them daily and I move them around until I know they are happy. It takes time and energy but they are totally worth it. They really bring me so much joy.

When it’s so cold outside ... all you want to do is snuggle in bed! Who’s with me?
P.s if anyone is after the most amazing cushions, then look no further than Abbie @studiosavvyuk she is a true diamond 💕💕 •
Passementerie - a posh word for trimmings, edgings and braids and a vital tool in our interior toolkit!
We were up in London today visiting our new job in Chelsea, so we popped into the design centre and a trip to the wonderful Samuel and Sons @samuelandsons. If you are looking for a clever way to jazz up some old plain curtains or to make cushions look more bespoke or even to use a contrasting piping cord to make a sofa shine, then look no further than here. There are other showrooms with trimmings books, but if you really want a good selection then stop by and have a look or go onto their website. For the interior lover it is a little like being a child in a tempting sweet shop!
3 years ago today we picked up the keys to our first house together.. I say house because it most definitely was not a home YET. We spent countless hours and all of our savings transforming this property in to something we could be proud of. 1 year ago we handed over our keys and it became someone else’s family home. We were essentially homeless, eagerly waiting to complete on our current property. These photos remind us that we are capable and there is light at the end of the tunnel. It makes us smile every time we see this place - thank you first home! .
Who’s been pinning Christmas on Pinterest? Seeking out every Christmas shop for pretty decorations?, planning there Christmas table? I’m not the only one! 😳 surely? , I just did an order today for some pretty decorations. So far @grahamandgreen seem to be one of my favourites for unusual decorations and @indiajanehome has pretty ones too. Where’s your favourite Christmassy shop? I’m looking for inspiration .
We’ve made it through Monday, it’s been a really productive one here, we’ve managed to tick some more things off the to do list and are just waiting on a mirror and that’s my daughters room finished.
Hope you’ve all had a great start to the week.
I had a little sunlight sipping in my little kitchen today, still needed light on though 😂🤷🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️...its now dark and cold but i love the autumn/winter evenings snuggled up on the sofa with my lanterns on starring at the tv but not really watching it! 😂
Wishing everyone a great week! Xx.

M O N D A Y 💥 .
Had the laziest of days, got back from London really late last night so I’ve been shattered all day... I love London so much, could see myself living in Kensington actually... Better get the lottery on 🥴 .
Shot of Saturday’s squeaky clean kitchen. It’s not looking like this so much tonight as the Morrisons man has just dropped off our food order. I must have been hangry or tired when I ordered as there’s ALOT of food!
I might have to invite the family round this weekend just to make a dent in it! 🤦🏼♀️
Have you got a late night online shopping story?
Happy Monday All 😀
Quick snap to catch the morning sun shining through to the landing this morning. Still on the search for a mirror to go above this radiator cover and would love in time, to create some half panelling up the stairs and onto the landing🤞🏼😊 but I also need to decide what colour to decorate it 🤔 decisions, decisions!! .
The blue maybe gone for ever,
but the memories will last as long as our minds do 😂
Ever wonder about this history of your home?! Who has lived there and what they were like?! Well, what's pretty cool is this home was once Andrew's grandparents home. They were the original owners in the 60s and raised their three daughters here. Through Andrew's younger years, him and his cousins lived here, all filtering in and out. Eventually, he bought the family home and has made some crazy renovations. Now, of course we are doing even more!
Loving the cosy, “chillax” vibes that @thepeacocksrenovate living room is giving.
Gone are the pink walls and the matching “swirly” wall and carpets replaced by these gorgeous blue, grey and wood tones.
The sliding doors were removed and the wall blocked up to allow for this space to be a separate “tidy” room as the back of house was opened up to create a kitchen/dining/family area.
Swipe left for the transformation.
💕💕 Happy Monday 💕💕
Eugh another week and yes it’s still bloody cold 🥶 This pic was taken last night when I was so cozy in my Pj’s with my candles all lit watching all my Sunday Tv.. I started that new BBC drama His Dark Materials very much like Fantastic Beasts / Harry Potter.. ❤️ it’s very good worth a watch!. Sat here now watching Cheshire Housewives with the heating on just keeping warm and trying to chill out! .
Hope you have all had a good day, mine has been one of my the Monday’s ever roll on Friday 😢
Another Christmas throwback to last years Christmas Eve! You know what? I think Christmas Eve is the most special day of the year, even more so than Christmas Day! The anticipation of Santa, the excitement that takes you back to childhood, strangers wishing you a merry Christmas in the street, appreciation of nearest and dearest, the butterflies as you try and get to sleep. Magical is truly the only word that can describe it! Oh It makes me feel warm just thinking about it - and it’s next month!! I’m not sure how longer I can hold off my decorating for - the way the children’s faces light up is priceless! 🎄 🎅🏻 ☃️ 🎁 We completely gutted the house today and have lots of bags of toys and clothes to donate to local charity. Every year we do something similar with the kids. It’s so easy to get caught up in it all - but there are lots of children and families desperately in need at this time of year and we always make sure the kids appreciate and understand that.
Happy Monday 💕
Just enjoying the last of the days sunshine streaming into the patio doors 🤣 before the school run as it’ll be dark soon, but I’m fine with that, I love getting cosy. Roll on after school run when I can change into my PJ’s & not leave the house again until tomorrow 👌💯❄️🔥
