I absolutely LOVE being outside! I love fresh air whether it’s the beach or the mountains. I enjoy traveling and exploring new places. I often gauge how awesome my weekend was by how much of it was spent outside. We love being spontaneous and just packing up and heading somewhere.
Having an additional stream of income that can help work towards more of THAT is HUGE for my family and what motivates me. Not to mention we also have a baby joining the family in the very near future and being able to have extra money to cover those additional expenses is a big deal for my family 🙌🏻
I really enjoy my day job and I don’t know if I’m looking to become a full time stay at home mom, but wouldn’t it be cool to work towards having the freedom to one day choose without that decision being completely tied up in money? To just have that FREEDOM? Or maybe just to not have to stress that myself or my husband could lose our job due to lay offs at work due to turbulent times during a pandemic.
THIS motivates me to overcome obstacles and find a way because I want to live a life where I’m able to do more of the things that fill me with joy and less time worrying about the price tag of those things, but also make an income in a way that brings me a sense of pride.
Feeling kind of melancholy.😕😕 Today we were supposed to be in Vancouver, BC, Canada...leaving on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship heading for a 12 day Alaskan sea/land adventure. ⛴ 🐻 We had our entire trip booked, planned out and most of my family was going with us. We were on track to see whales, grizzly bears, ride a crab boat and see the glaciers. We were also going to be riding a train across the Alaska landscape and spending time at Denali National Park. It was to be the trip of a lifetime and one that we had planned to take in the memory of our parents.❤
And....of course, we had to cancel because of Covid-19. 😷😷 I know we will try again to take this magnificent trip, but today has left me feeling a little sad and disappointed. 😕😕
Is there any better place to live? ☀️🌊
I’ve lived in 3 different states but nothing beats the seasons & the lakes of Michigan.
It amazes me how many people live in Michigan and have never been to Northern Michigan, even worse, there are Michiganders who’ve never been to the U.P. 🤯
There is SO MUCH to be explored!
Where is your favorite spot to explore in the mitten?!
Not all those who wander are lost....except sometimes. Sometimes we get really lost when we are exploring new places. Especially Scott, but that is why he bought a compass and has been practicing land navigation.
The van is really starting to feel like home! Although it’s very weird having to figure out where to fill up your water tank, where to find the sunniest places for the solar panel so you can charge your phone, and how to play food Jenga with your mini fridge 🤷🏼♀️
