Time's up, we have to drive home today 🥺 we did so many cool things in Austria past days, didnt even had time to share it with you guys. So expect lots of travelspam when we return, but first: 932 km's to go! Just sit back, relax and... sleep. 😌👌🏻 wish me luck! Do you like car rides too?
Could sit here all day admiring this view while learning about a research project university students are doing involving catching squirrels. They’re putting temperature monitoring collars on them to learn more about why they’re starting to hibernate longer than the time they spend awake! Such an interesting concept!

Just a couple of squirrel friends hanging out on-top of the mountain where we got engaged 🥰🐿️
I love each and every leash I make - every one is unique and no 2 leashes are the exact same. But this one is one of my favourites! Just look at that POP of colour 😍👌🏻
Choosing colours can be a bit overwhelming since we offer 18 different colours! If you have a hard time picking or just don't know which colours to choose - give me a message and i will give you a hand!
I currently do not offer any pre made items for our rope products - BUT - I have some news! I may be making up some tie dye leashes. I'm going to play around with some colours / techniques first. To make sure 1) I enjoy making them. 2) They turn out great. 3) I know exactly what technique to use.
I love this happy face!
Jesse looking so handsome in his flannel bandana from @pacifichound
My heart skips a beat when I see Jesse’s beautiful, happy and purely innocent face💔
It actually hurts my heart.
We’re only dancing on this earth for a short while, is so true.
Become what you most love.
Surround yourself with beauty.
Don’t enable energy suckers.
Don’t dwell on negative feelings; They are not real...although they will try to make you think they are real.
...my advice for a random Thursday in July...😂
How happy do you dogs make you?
I’m definitely a happier person with dogs.
I've been making so many new friends this week! I guess you can say that I was born to be popular 😜
Mipha went on her first ever wolfpack day And first trip to the beach in Squamish! Good girl was perfectly quiet for the whole 1 hour car ride (big sis did all the whining 😅). It was very exciting to meet all the people and dogs and she got along well with everyone 🥰 we had a grand time running around in the low tide! She was on a long line, which I love/hate for getting caught on rocks all the time, since it's annoying to have to untangle her but that also prevents her from running away. Overall it was a fabulous first outing and I will process the photos to show you guys soon!

staring longingly at the destination we never reached
the first hike of our road trip was a real bummer. I had such high expectations and was so pumped for our first backpacking trip as a family but the conditions made it impossible to finish our route. there were vast snowfields and trudging through knee deep snow just becomes too exhausting at a certain point, especially when you’re trying to cover 30 miles in 3 days. we were supposed to go another 3.5 miles past the lake you can see in the background and into the basin surrounded by all those stunning, jagged peaks. most of the time we were too miserable (wet and cold, boots completely soaked through) to truly enjoy the views we did have. sometimes I feel like I should put down the camera and enjoy the moment more, but in this case it’s much easier to enjoy the views we had now that I’m back home, warm and dry.
have you had to turn around on a hike before? did you feel like you wanted to do it even more after that experience? or just think screw that I’ll go somewhere else! for me it depends. the other hike we had to turn around on this summer was Mt. Princeton and I probably won’t return to that cursed mountain since there are plenty of other 14ers to climb. but I’m already absolutely determined to go back and hike this trail in wyoming again someday and make it all the way.... but next time in august just to be sure there isn’t too much snow 😰
