“Remember to breathe. It is after all, the secret of life.” (Gregory Maguire)
I still remember this snow day about 5 years ago. I live in a city where snow to this extent is unreal and unexpected. I still remember the crazy traffic jams on all roads and people abandoning their cars to walk home in the cold, snowy night. Some people walked 4+ hours in the cold to get home. Others were stranded on the road. Businesses were closed but reopened a few hours later when they realized people couldn't get home. But the whole community got together to survive that snowy day. It was a heart-warming scene in a cold, winter day.
Ending the line of posts is the first photo I took today. In total I took 200+ photos. Ended up using a few. Walking around mindlessly not knowing what to expect resulted in soooo much fun and some very cool photos! I'm very excited to do it again and to use this Instagram as a starting point for not only my photos, but my goals, my memories, and perhaps one day a profitable hobby. 📸
Iron Bowl Thoughts:
Should Auburn have been able to kick the field
goal at the end of the 1st half? Probably not.
But that’s not why we lost tonight’s game.
There’s a lot blame going around.
The refs. The DBs. The play calling. The DC.
The pick 6s. The missed FG. The penalties!
Here’s what I know. This is without a doubt the
most undisciplined team of the Nick Saban era.
It may also be the softest/worst defense too.
Yes the coaching turnover and injuries have
played a huge part, but that’s no excuse.
Changes must be made somewhere, whether
it’s the scheme, players, or coordinators.
I also know this. As Alabama fans, we get spoiled.
Was this team the championship-caliber we are
used to? No. But to expect that every season for
over a decade isn’t realistic. The college football
world said we were done after two straight bowl
losses (in which we gave up 40+ points) in 2013
and 2014. Won 2 titles in the next 3 seasons.
Now they’re saying we’re done again.
Well...let’s prove them wrong. #ROLLTIDE
