Here’s @npetits capturing how I feel about it being Friday and t-minus 6 hours till the weekend 🤩

Look over there! To when I was having more fun 😂
Transitioning out of summer has been an adjustment this year. I spent almost every weekend in the mountains hiking & climbing during the summer ☺️ It’s 4+ hours each way for me to get there though, so I find once camping season ends and it gets harder to plan, I stop going. Maybe an ice climb or two, but otherwise I become a city dweller and mostly just work.
I just finished 11 shifts in a row, so I must say drinking coffee and relaxing this morning feels amazing. Maybe not as amazing as those mountain views though 😍
Do you adventure less once summer ends? Is it hard for you, or do you like that life “calms down” for awhile?
Thanks @bronzebaxxtan for a wonderful morning! After a good sweat in the (private) infrared sauna, I was treated to a Ballancer Pro lymphatic massage. 🤩 Both services are great for sports recovery, and feel amazing!! My legs feel lighter already! Have you ever tried these post workout spa services?
So crazy to see the lakes freezing already, seems like it’s too early!! Better get the ⛸ sharpened and ready to go!

This was by far my favourite lake in Banff, even more than Lake Louise. The water is so unbelievable, it's actually this colour⠀
I know this is a controversial statement, but it's true

@moose_trail took us to this hidden gem. There is not a chance that any tour bus is getting into this place 😏
You feel grateful when you get the chance to have a place as beautiful as this all to yourself
Fact. Waterfalls NEVER disappoint #GoPro
Annika here from @borntobeadventurous ! I am so excited to share with you a project that I have been working on for 3 years. It is a Hiking Guide for Families that includes over 40 hikes in the Banff, Canmore, Kananaskis, Calgary and Bragg Creek area. I am running a Kickstarter where you can pre-order the book and help me cover the initial costs of printing the book! If you believe in this project and want to support then head to my link in bio. There are other rewards too like Hiking challenges, animal sticker sheets, mountain earrings and t-shirts/tanks. #albertaadventuregirls#borntobeadventurous
Among everything that I’m thankful for..
there’s this guy! He’s the most loving, hilarious, accepting, handy, and helpful person that I’ve ever met. Watching him with the children is incredible. He’s PRESENT, patient, and sets such a great example. Yesterday I witnessed him fishing out a toy truck from the poop filled toilet... he’s a full on natural. 🙈
Before we met, I had myself convinced that I could do it own my own, and that everything would be okay…
NOW I don’t know how I could live without.
Tyler, you are the most amazing teammate & we are so grateful for you. ❤️
We live and we laugh.. but sometimes we can forget to laugh... and we just live. But isn’t life just better when there’s laughter in it?
Another minty moment from the @socality meetup last weekend. It was filled with moments just like this. A great day spent with even greater company👌🏼we love our creative community. .

Getting into Lake O’Hara is not an easy task! But wow wow wow it is worth it!
To help preserve this special place, access to the area is restricted to a certain number of people per day. Trying to get one of these spots ain’t easy and I spent multiple days and many hours on the phone until I finally managed to get a campsite right near the end of the season.
Got to spend the past week in the insanely gorgeous Canadian Rockies and explore some more remote, lesser-visited areas around Banff. Legs still a little wobbly from some of the longest and steepest hikes I've ever done!
I spent the May long weekend photographing wildlife in Waterton National Park. The weather was barely above freezing, gloomy, rainy, and snowy, and definitely had me dreaming about feeling the warm sunshine on my shoulders while climbing mountains and taking in plenty of views like this. However, the wildlife didn’t seem to mind the winter-esque weather, and we were able to sit, observe and photograph a mama bear and her three cubs for hours on end (from a respectable distance, through long lenses and from the safety of a vehicle, of course). What an incredible blessing to be able to witness these intimate moments of a mama bear and her cubs feeding, playing, and interacting. Hoping to have a chance to edit these beautiful bear photos soon but until then, here’s a sunny mountaintop photo from last summer ☀️ 🏔 [ I added a Waterton highlight on my profile if you want to follow along the behind the scenes! 🐻 ] #travelalberta#explorealberta#albertaadventuregirls#womenwhohike#mountaingirls#alpinebabes

I have been apart of the @eddiebauer family for about 5 years now, proudly wearing their gear and have loved seeing them evolve as a company - product wise and on this platform. Their last campaign has been all about #whyihike and often times it’s hard to put into words why I do, but this smile says it all 🖤 #liveyouradventure#ebcontributor | Photo @ka.gnon Edit 🙋🏼♀️
