Night time fears can be very common for kids, and sometimes even big kids.
I used to be afraid of the dark when I was a kid; I would turn the light off then run and jump in bed incase something grabbed my feet, I would not sleep with my feet out of the blanket. Trips to the toilet were avoided at all costs, my heart would race if there were any strange sounds in the house, and I would freak out every time I heard a creak in the stairs.
Here’s a great protocol for helping with those scary thoughts at night.
JUNIPER BERRY~ Juniper Berry is the Oil of the Night as it helps to release any irrational fears, recurring nightmares, disrupted sleep. It allows for protected and peaceful dreaming.
WILD ORANGE~ Even though oils in the citrus family are typically uplifting and stimulating, Wild Orange can relieve nervousness, fear and a busy mind, yet still remain incredibly calming.
These two oils combined in the diffuser will be a godsend for your babes and they will love you even more for it.
For extra support you can also apply them both to the forehead or under the feet.

🍄 Shiatsu (Identity design and stationery), 17 August 2016
Shiatsu, a Japanese alternative form of medicine and healing, aims to create a balance between the mind and body. The logomark reflects this with the sumi-e brush stroke, enveloped by a circle that symbolises the land of the rising sun; whilst the upward lift in the brush stroke represents Swiss landscapes. The holistic form emotes a sense of calm and wellness - like the art of Shiatsu.

**ahem this is a public service announcement** LADIES THIS POST IS FOR YOU 👇
So it's time to get real with ya'll again!
Decided to post this mainly to raise awareness as it feels it's becoming a running theme in a lot of women's lives unfortunately. But sharing realness is a positive repercussion, in fact I'm planning on turning it into project number two! Here goes...
So I was diagnosed with a pretty chronic health issue/illness a couple of months ago.
Having not known much about the kind of x3 benign tumors that are currently growing inside my uterus, I defaulted as most would to getting the opinion of gynecologists. I've now spoken at length with three, had tests and scans and there's a 2:1 opposing opinion on what to do to help my issue.
I use the word help as according to science there is "no cure" it's all "genetic" and there's a high likely hood even if removed "they'll grow back". I'm not going to even start listing the horridness Fibroids are causing thousands of women daily. You can do this research yourself. What is alarming is that they "don't know" what makes them grow/form in the first place.
The option recommend to most women is a complete removal of the womb, i.e a hysterectomy due to the fact that once you have them there is a high risk of them returning. Other options include a Caesarean type surgery where they remove them from the uterus, again high risk of complications as it's an incredibly bloody surgery. Third option is inducing menopause- being pumped with hormones to ironically correct what they say is a hormonal issue.
Yes that would mean stoping the functioning of the ovaries all together in a bid to shrink these imposters. Let's not get started on the side effects of the treatment which can only be administered 6 months at a time because of what it puts the body through.
What I've decided to do now is what after some internet digging I've discovered a few women have managed to do successfully themselves. Shrink them down dramatically/ heal themselves completely primarily through nutrition/other holistic practices. You've got to go hard core on the good stuff. More in comments!!👇

Sleep is fundamental in preserving physiological homeostasis, or harmony.
It is a process conserved across all animal species, highlighting its importance to biological function.
It is so critical to health that individuals with fatal familial or sporadic insomnia with progressively worsening sleep quality oftentimes develop dementia or die within months or years.
Sleep is crucial, then, to integrity of our neurological processes.
Lack of sleep predictably and reproducibly leads to the following consequences:
✅ impaired learning
✅ compromised performance in cognitive tests
✅ extended reaction time
Although it’s long been speculated that sleep plays critical roles in repair and regeneration, exact mechanisms have eluded scientists up until relatively recently.
Animal studies, however, shine a spotlight on why our brain health rapidly deteriorates in the absence of sleep.
Surrounding the cells of the brain is interstitial fluid, which contains proteins implicated in neurodegenerative diseases, such as β-amyloid (Aβ) α-synuclein, and tau, known to elicit the following effects:
✔️ alter synaptic transmission
✔️ disrupt cytosolic Ca2+ concentrations
✔️ trigger irreversible neuronal injury
In the rest of the body, these toxic metabolites are returned to the liver by the lymphatic system for degradation and disposal.
Neurons are especially vulnerable to toxicants due to their fragility, yet the brain lacks a conventional lymphatic system.
The brain instead uses the convective exchange of cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) with interstitial fluid (ISF), organized around the cerebral vasculature.
The CSF recirculates through the brain and interchanges with ISF to remove proteins deleterious to neuronal function in what has been called the “glymphatic system”.
In an animal study, it was illuminated that sleep results in a “striking” increase in activity of the glymphatic system—what is essentially the brain’s janitorial staff or clean-up crew.
The end result is that sleep enhances clearance of neurotoxic waste products such as β-amyloid plaques which can accrue and lead to neurodegenerative disorders such as Alzheimer’s
‘The equinox is a time of balance. When there are equal hours of darkness and light it can affect us in different ways. For some, it's a season to honor the darker aspects of the goddess, calling upon the powers of light. For others, it's a time of thankfulness, of gratitude for the abundance we have at the season of harvest’

[Forts i kommentarer]
👉🏼SAY WHAT YOU MEAN AND MEAN WHAT YOU SAY👈🏼 When you say you will do something and don’t do it, you teach others that you cannot be trusted.👎🏼 You also teach and train YOURSELF that you are not worth trusting.🤥 This may lead to low self-worth and lack of self-respect. 🗝Integrity is making sure that the things you say and the things you do are in alignment.🗝
If this is you, then hypnotherapy may help you regain your morals and values. Hypnotherapy can help re-build confidence and self-respect. ✨People with good intentions make promises but people with good character keep them.✨ Once you value yourself, others will too! 🗝 When you don’t keep your word, you lose credibility.🥴 Change is good. Respect yourself. ✨❤️👊🏻👍🏻👌🏻❤️✨
“Integrity is choosing courage over comfort. It’s choosing what is right over what is fun, fast, or easy. It’s choosing to practice your values rather than simply professing them.” - Brene Brown👌🏻

Unfortunately I can't find the artist on Social media but i uploaded a picture of her name for you 😉

Hovering over Aladdin, the Genie explains, “Rule #1 : I can't kill anybody. So don't ask. Rule #2 : I can't make anybody fall in love with anyone else… Rule #3 : I can't bring people back from the dead... it's not a pretty picture. I don't like doing it! Other than that, you got it!” (Disney/Aladdin/Genie)
Um, ya folks, Hypnotherapy is NOT a magic genie in a bottle. Aladdin is NOT going to grant you 3 instant wishes. Oh, and it’s NOT a cult or belief system either. It’s NOT a magic diet pill, or a plastic surgeon. Hypnotherapy IS a tool -- just as needles are to an acupuncturist, a blow dryer is to a hair stylist, makeup to a makeup artist, a nail file is to a nail technician, a leash is to a dog walker, etc. It’s that simple. ✨The purpose of hypnotherapy is to create or modify a behavior.✨
Behavior change requires dedication and persistence to produce lasting results. Can change happen in 1 session? It is possible and does happen but long-lasting change is usually created by working to identify the root of the problem. Sometimes, digging takes time if your roots are deep. Reinforcement is key and that usually means more than 1 session. Everyone is different. ✨🗝✨🗝✨🗝✨🗝✨🗝

Healing with sound and music dates back as far as ancient Greece.
We play music at our weddings to celebrate love, and at funerals to say goodbye. We listen when we are bored, and dance to it when we want to have fun. And we sing praises throughout all religions and spiritual traditions.
We use music for entertainment, expression, celebration, ceremony, leisure, and communication. Whether we are musically inclined or not, it is one thing that truly connects humans from all cultures and corners of the earth.
Music was never invented or discovered, but something innate within all of us.
Where words fail
A harmony of frequencies
A universal language of love
What songs have gotten you through challenging times or supported in your growth/healing?
I am willing to travel to you if you feel more comfortable with doing a Kambo session in your own space. 🐸
My schedule for Sept is almost full but I have openings for October.

General reading for the collective | #tarottuesday September 17, 2019: Ace of Wands x 4 of Wands 🔥🔥🔥
Some of us may be experiencing a lot of energy right now. This may be coming in the form of physical energy, or ideas and various opportunities. It's as if the Universe is lighting a fire under our ass! Regardless of your energy levels it's wise to really examine how you're feeling and work with that. What are those feelings calling you to act on or adjust? There may be wake up calls that we need to adhere to and adjust appropriately. The bottom line is that things are ramping up and we're being guided to tend to any unfinished business so we are prepared for what's to come. .

We wanted to jump on the current train of how important a trauma-informed lens is in the human service profession, in our personal lives, and in general. We know that many programs and trainings don’t offer resources, let along sometimes even mention the importance of integrating a trauma-informed lens into our practices, so we wanted to offer some here! Although this is beginning to change, we do have a long way to go! .... I have this huge fascination for alternative medicine and it has been there since college days. Be it Ayurveda, homeo, touch therapy, Acupunture, acupressure, naturopathy......all these have been a part and parcel of my life in various ways! .
A few years ago when I developed pain in the knees, my usual speed at which I walk slowed down tremendously. Climbing stairs became painful... I remember going to a doctor who told me to shift from second floor to ground floor as the pain will be there all my life!! ( In my head I think I gave him a solid punch!). Acupunture and exercises helped me recover!! I run down the stairs now and do things which I never imagined I will be able to do ever again!! .
There is something very sacred about leading or living a painfree life. Acupunture I have discovered is such a magical way of leading a painfree life. Thanks to all the stress, the work load and tons of crisis lately... ( whisky saying goodbye, the emotional stress, the incessant travel which I hate, the business pressures of a market which is down; South Side Story and multiple events and everything else under the sun....) I had this sprain in my neck! I could not move. The pain in the neck was literally a pain... .
Dr Aadil came to my rescue. A few pokes into my wrist and I was moving my neck like a crane.... what’s more important was he calmed my senses too... post the poke, I spent the rest of the day at office murmuring Ninoham and Ninoham in my head and was rather relaxed when the team around me was spitting fire! The crisis was managed without much ado... .
Acupunture is a science that not many are comfortable with.... but I can say from
my own experience that it does not hurt, it’s healing, it helps you lead a pain free life...and it’s addictive!! Dr Aadil Khan; you are such a rock star - Mr Poke-Man .
This picture was taken post the poke!! Look at me posing :))!! @acupuncturistaadilkhan .
