“Trust in me, just in me
Shut your eyes and trust in me
You can sleep safe and sound
Knowing I am around
Slip into silent slumber
Sailing on a silver mist
Slowly and surely your senses
Will cease to resist
Trust in me, just in me
Shut your eyes and trust in me”
😘😍 Wake up with makeup 😴💆🏼♀️
The return of the cold has me feeling like I need to crawl back into hibernation 🥶 I’m a Mama Bear, so that checks out, right?! Right. Thinking back to this blissfully warm day in Annapolis last summer with these fine people! Would you know, that there was a huge thunderstorm that unleashed about 30 seconds after this?! #melissabarrickphotography#loveletterbrides

When you’re pretty excited to show off your new baby sister. It’s wild to think that just (almost) three years ago, William was the new baby. Growing with families is literally the best. 🥰

Without representation, the chances of an asylum seeker winning a case are very low. Based on statistics, only one out of every 10 win their case. An estimated 90% of asylum seekers without legal representation lose their asylum cases in court, according to a 2017 Syracuse University study. On the other hand, nearly 50% of people who retained attorneys were granted asylum. (Photo credit: AIJN) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

#TodayInAnnapolis - WOW! 😳 Now that’s what I call an Annapolis sunrise! 🙌🏻🌅👀 You got the Bay Bridge, calm waters on the bay, and a big ol’ boat on the horizon watching the sky explode! 😍🚢🌉 Thanks so much for tagging us @stephaniehritz! 🙏🏻📸
It’s nice to photograph your family because they don’t question you when you order them to stand in the middle of the street #cecilestormpictures

a lil Valentine’s Weekend in Annapolis 🤍 I wish Timmy would be down for me to travel with a tripod everywhere we went so we could get pics but for now, here I am. 😉 Also, static hair is my enemy. If you have any tips let me know
Yesterday, I looked back on old Instagram posts. A year ago, I was a cup of sadness. So frustrated and beaten down by the weight of my homesickness. Furious to be figuring out, once again, what it meant to cultivate meaning inside our long days. Weekdays, I’d count minutes. Weekends, we’d drive deep into the country, and I’d beg more time.
Autumn is a season of turning inward, turning homeward, bedding down. I’m not struggling like I was a year ago. Missing home is a mighty wind, but I know how to let it blow without it rocking me. Days are still long and hard, but I’m not strapped for purpose. Weekends, we still roam, but there’s less daw desperation. I’m not starving of the bleeding anymore.
I suppose this is all to say a year is long and short, and I’m grateful for the way life is always rolling into what’s next. For seasons that always, steadily change.
