Holding my breath while floating on a pool noodle, I tried to remain still enough to capture this photo knowing I could not come close to capturing the full beauty of the view in front of me. ⠀
The only two people in the 84 degree pool, Chris and I had this epic sunset over the Garden of the Gods and Pikes Peak all to ourselves. ⠀
This infinity pool with an incredible view was one of the reasons I was drawn to return to this hotel, @ggresortandclub We stayed here last year, bobbed in the warm water during a chunky, snow globe-like snowstorm, and I thought the experience couldn't get better. But then we saw this. ⠀
God is so good. I am so thankful for this dramatic display of his creativity, and the moment I got to share with my husband. We oohed and awed, splished and splashed, and praised God for it all.⠀
10-TEN-Years! Yesterday we celebrated our 10th anniversary. 💓
Well, technically we’re celebrating all week🤪
Where have the last 10 years gone? I have the most amazing husband ever! 😍 Being married to him is the best! We spent our anniversary yesterday in St. Lucia. (Which is where we went on our honeymoon!)The day before we swam with sting rays in Antigua and today we’re exploring caves in Barbados. Can I rewind a few days and do this week all over?! We’re having so much fun! #vacation#vacationmode#nokids#royalcaribbean#freedomoftheseas#anniversary#anniversarytrip
Here’s a scenario I need some help with. Every December we fit in a short anniversary trip. We went to Barcelona last year, Strasbourg the year before, etc. This year we are set to land in Paris the day AFTER their national transportation strike starts — which includes Air France ground workers and all transportation. We’re not sure if we’ll make it to our hotel in Nice if our connecting flight get cancelled. Should we (A) hope for the best and leave everything booked, (B) cancel our hotel and just find something last minute, (C) stop worrying because we can’t do anything about it, or (D) [insert what you would do]. Can you tell my anxiety is a little bit through the roof?? 😂😂 I need a little help...
[Lobster Shack, Tasmania] 🦞🦞🦞
These lobster rolls were sooo satisfying 😍 Big juicy chunks of chilled lobster meat encased in crunchy lettuce salad and a soft white bun. Simple yet delicious. I think this is a more natural and fresh version of Luke’s Lobster Rolls (which I also love). Ahh I miss this meal so much!! Would fly back just for this if I could 🤩🦞🦞🦞
. 👌Tip: Make sure you try their seafood chowder too - I found that the Tasmanians are super generous when it comes to scallops - the chowder was packed with delicious bites of seafood and in particular SCALLOPS. Lots and lots of scallops. .

@amillafushi is one of our favourite resorts in Maldives!!! Were you following what @mariefeandjakesnow got up to here???
The name translates to ‘My Island Home’ in local Maldivian language. Featuring white washed overwater villas, beautiful beach houses, & elegant estate & residences plus impressive health & wellness concepts like Amilla’s very own Wellness Cafe. The Sky House Bubble is a first of its kind in Maldives. The dining outlets are both homely & gastronomic - the General Store, Fish & Chip Shop, plus Feeling Koi overwater Japanese fine dining. The jungle spa ‘Javvu’ adopts multiple treatment practices including Sensora light chroma therapy(only a handful worldwide), Pure massage technique, a Turkish Hammam style treatment room, plunge pools, saunas & steam rooms.
For an incredible Maldives experience, you need to look no further than Amilla Fushi. ✨ SWIPE RIGHT ↠
Peace out (for a few days) South Florida, Gio and I have some anniversary celebrating to do! ✌🏼♥️🍷 Also, how pretty is this wall? This picture was taken a few weeks ago in Nashville at Reese Witherspoon’s @draperjames 😍
Dinner at De Post, a Belgian restaurant and bar in Mt. Eden Village a few minutes from our place. I got local cider to drink. Lamb shanks with brie mash, seasonal veg, and a juniper jus. Daren got fish and chips. We shared a rhubarb apple crumble for dessert.
Happy 11th anniversary to the bestest guy ever. He's my everything and I'm so happy to be on this adventure--both life AND New Zealand--with him.
Sometimes you just have to grab your best friend and go on an adventure! Today my husband and I celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary waking up in Kona, Hawaii! Our drive over the mountain I was so excited to see a black ram right on the side of the road along with many other black goats in the black lava fields. They blended in but it was so cool to try and spot them. After the beaches and palm trees this was icing on the cake! #explorenewislands#bigislandhawaii#bigislandram#anniversarytrip#restandrelaxation#kona
Breakfast at Olaf's. Turmeric and chia spelt sourdough bagel, in-house cured salmon, capers, cream cheese, and red onion for me, and zucchini fritters with halloumi, kale pesto, poached egg, and salad for Daren. They make all their bread and we will definitely be going back to get a loaf of something delicious to snack on for the week.
•Night 1 in Nashville•
We’ve already had a blast since we got here. Spent the afternoon in the gulch, went to one of our favs “Emmy Squared” for dinner, and then went and played Top Golf... which I’m totally hooked on and kicked Gavin’s butt! Lol
Can’t wait to see all this trip has in store for us!
As always you can shop my outfit on LIKEtoKNOW.it. This jacket is a must out here in 40 degree weather!
On our first two years of marriage: In the grand scheme of life, two years is a blip. However, these last two are two that I know I will never forget! The first year of marriage really is a dream. It goes by so quickly as it’s the newlywed year! Everything is new and fresh and exciting. @edwineversole and I didn’t live together before we got married so the first year of marriage brought so many exciting changes and really marked the first time we were truly making all of our decisions with another person in mind. In the second year of marriage, we were more settled into life. Even though we’ve been together for nine years, we really grew in our relationship so much in our second year of marriage. We’ve been living through our house renovation and experiencing other life curveballs as a couple that have brought us together so much more than I expected for this year. Life has so many blessings and I know that one of my greatest blessings is Edwin. He brings me joy, laughter, comfort, security, and strength every single day. I can’t imagine God creating a better man than Edwin! More from our anniversary trip on the blog... the link is in my profile 💗
