A fav new planter, courteous of my neighbors garbage. Nope, not a typo. Yep, I dug that out of someone's garbage (swipe for evidence). 😬
Have you ever transformed someone else's trash into a fun new treasure?! This was a first for me, but definitely not the last! A little sanding + a quick coat of clear enamel and it's like new. I also proved to my husband that I don't always pick the most expensive...so win-win!! 🙌🏼 Stay safe and well and be kind to others AND keep your eyes open for all the trashy treasures!!! 😉
Man... if you would have told me 5 months ago a little jewelry business would change my life, I would have laughed in your face.
I NEVER wanted to be that girl “selling” something on the internet. They always gave me bad vibes and I just didn’t want to be a part of something like that.
I like to think Plunder is different. We offer an undeniable product at an affordable price. Our stylists are strong, self-built women who want nothing more than to help their customers feel more confident.
There are pyramid schemes out there. Plunder definitely isn’t one of them. There is no such thing as a “get rich fast” company; and if a company is claiming that... you betttta run, sister.
I worked my butt off to get here. After 5 months in this business, I have doubled my teacher salary, earned leadership in the company, and I have gained SO much knowledge. I’m ready to help YOU. Join Plunder today + get 30% off your stylist kit. $300+ worth of jewelry for just $70. 🤯 I’m ready, are you?
I tried to go neutral on this buffet and even thought as I brushed the dark navy on that I would be able to. Maybe not surprisingly I just couldn’t help myself and added some layers of lighter blue and black on top and when that wasn’t enough I added endless beautiful blossoms! This is a super solid piece that would work as a sideboard or buffet or in a bedroom as an amazing dresser! You can watch my struggle to keep it neutral in my saved stories! The blue is Oxford Navy from @anniesloanhome and the blossoms are @redesignwithprima ! This beautiful babe is available in my shop for $650.00! @oakstreetmillantiquesllc

This lady rug is a badass Kayseri. She has a high knot count, and her details are gorgeous.
She’d fancy up your entry, or any room you need shots of pale pink and peach.

“You cannot get through a single day without having an impact on the world around you. What you do makes a difference and you have to decide what kind of difference you want to make.”~Jane Goodall •
Tonight I have joined together with an amazing group of ladies who all want to share the beautiful messages and voices of so many amazing people! Please listen as they share their stories. •
The very first person that popped into my mind to share is my best friend, @estherbschmidt . Esther’s home is a beautifully curated boho vibe with mixes of whites, woods and greenery (plants). Esther has a free-spirited aesthetic, rooted in cultural mixing. She has lived and traveled all over the world. Take a moment and check out her feed! It’s simply beautiful! I have told her before and I’ll say it again, she is the Gayle to my Oprah! Thank you for being in my life! You are a blessing that I didn’t know I needed! •
If you would like to join us please DM @thedogdaysofdiy . Please check out our hashtag to see the many beautiful accounts worth following: westandtogetheras1 • • • • • • •
I did it.
And I’m going to be the first to admit it.
With the best of intentions, I’ve been sharing work from black artists on my IG Stories over the last few days (some of whom I was already following, others I can’t believe I hadn’t discovered yet!) while listening to and learning from the voices that are crying out to be heard.
I wanted you to be able to see and follow the incredible artists I’ve found, so I put the Stories into a new Highlight.
Here’s where I flubbed up.
When I titled the highlight, I named it “follow them”.
But then I sat with that phrasing a while and it didn’t sit right.
Those artists aren’t “them”. They are US.
If you’d like to see the artists I’ve been sharing, click on the highlight now named simply “follow” above.
I plan to continue sharing to my Stories and adding to this highlight.

NWT Black swing dress
Fits more like a medium in my opinion.
I love a loose fit swing dress, but I’m normally a small so this didn’t fit me right.
Buttery soft dress.

When the world feels so overwhelming and dark, art is a light of hope that breaks through that darkness. It speaks to your soul in moments when words don’t feel like they can ever be enough.
For the past three mornings, I have gotten lost in pages of artists, something I haven’t done in a long time, and damn it has been good for the soul. I wanted to share a few that took my breath away. Swipe for their work, and check out @blackart365 where I discovered them. . @calidagarciarawles Calida Rawles, Los Angeles “Calida Rawles paints the sometimes indecipherable world above and below the water’s surface – ‘the idea of viewing our ever-changing world from a new perspective, a different prism’ @vsf .
. @mayor_artz Mayor Olajide, Nigeria. 17 year old self-taught hyperrealist. SEVENTEEN! “Art is often perceived as a way of detachment from reality, a key to unlocking some hidden meaning in the world that surrounds us. This is not completely true for art genres like Hyperrealism, where the line between reality and art is.” .
. @creativecurvyginger Genevieve Gaignard, Los Angeles “Gaignard uses low-brow pop sensibilities to craft dynamic visual narratives.” “blends humor, persona and popular culture to reveal the ways in which the meeting and mixing of contrasting realities can feel much like displacement.”
. @alexis.eke Alexis Eke Toronto, Ontario. “Illustrator and designer inspired by renaissance portraits and traditional Japanese art, she aims to illustrate black women in a contemporary light.”

NWT Boutique ruffle tiered midi
Model is wearing a XL.
In my opinion, this would also fit an M perfectly. It’s more of a loose fit dress so it can also fit a busty small.
Super comfy and cute.
