Today’s transformation 🤩 SWIPE TO WATCH PROCESS ➡️ Here’s a quick video on how I achieved this balayage. My client wanted to keep her base and roots just the way she came in (she wanted something with less maintenance) so I did a balayage on top of everything she had and added a smudge root just so the difference of her roots to her color wasn’t such a big difference😊 What do you guys think?! Who wants to make a video? 📹
There are moments and images in my collection that no matter how many times I rework and refresh never quite live up to the emotion of the moment they were captured. This is one such shot. Redone I don't know how many times now, I think the experience I had standing on this ridge was more than any camera or edit can truly match.
Officially known as cylindropuntia bigelovii by botanists, a more friendly name for the same plant is Teddy Bear Cholla (pronounced choy-ya) for the fuzzy, cuddly appearance it takes on in certain lighting. No matter what you call it, this cactus deserves respect as a very efficient plant that survives in the harsh desert climate on less than 10 inches (25.4 cm) of precipitation a year.
As with many things in nature, the Teddy Bear Cholla is best observed from a distance.

Now....this is a shameless selfie because I was feeling myself this am (I’m sick of me right now too lol, but can you just tell the good vibes AZ has been doing for me). ☺️
I just started my new job as a Physical Therapist in a SNF and I must say it was great day! I forgot how rewarding this field is! To finally be back to living out my passion for guiding others, watching them gain confidence in movement and returning to their prior level of function is nothing less than a Phenomenal feeling!
I had an amazing weekend filled with lots of laughs and quality time with family. Now back to reality... hope everyone has a great day. Happy Monday💕

Walking into this week with so much excitement because Jake and I are heading to #utah to explore #zionnationalpark in just a few days! There was a new order that went into effective today in Chicago where you must quarantine for 14 days after visiting a state with a high covid count. Utah is on the list but we decided to still go on the trip and follow the stay at home order once we return.
Would you do the same or just cancel your travel plans if they were days away?
It’s sunny and “warm” here in the AZ desert! 110 degrees today but I see that 115 waving to us on the weekend! That probably means no monsoon storms for us but maybe elsewhere in the state.
Thanks everyone for your continued support. I had a big growth spurt for me over the weekend with a couple features from some big accounts. I don’t get there without you so thanks you. I’ll story them today.
Thanks for being here and have fun!
