Weather Report: Forecasting Future is themed around the complex and varied relations between the human and nonhuman in an age when climate change and mass extinction are threatening the future of life on Earth.
When imagining the future, humans face the responsibility of acknowledging multispecies entanglements and the need to renegotiate existing interspecies relations.

Mackerelart create vibrant paintings in acrylic ink on watercolour paper and also hand-painted lampshades in acrylic ink.
"The vibrant blues and aqua colours of the sea and a fascination with the iridescent patterns of mackerel are my inspiration. Whether it is a shoal swimming across the page or abstract designs in rich blues, I paint for the love of it at my kitchen table. I do sell most of my work, mostly through galleries on the coast and the beauty of the patterns of mackerel have led to other work, including aluminium wall art and hand painted lampshades".
♡no matter how bad you think you are, just keep going ♡

through the years of doing art for fun, I have learnt multiple stuff, the first thing being that nothing is impossible to learn, if you want to learn a certain style, or a certain medium, then it's simple, study it ! Take notes on the most important things about that medium or style, watch tutorial videos, check out some art books, look for references, ask people and finally put everything to practice ! Your work will eventually pay off. And the second thing is: THERE IS NO RUSH ! take your time drawing, enjoy the process, have fun during your journey ! Coz that's what art is all about ! I hear sooo many artist saying how much they are not improving, or not improving fast enough while being less than 20 years old. My advice is don't put pressure on yourself, you have sooooo much time ahead of you sooooo much more to dicover and explore, but if you spend your time counting the mistakes, then you'll be slowely killing the process, killing the joy and the fun ! Guess what Not liking your art is a part of improving, self critique is what puches you forward, but destructive criticism will just drag you down and stop you from loving your pation, weather that critique came from someone else or from yourself.
I remember when I started digital art, and I was a complete noob ! I didn't know what's a layer? Heck when I bought my tablet, I didn't even know I needed a drawing program 🤦🏻♀️ yet while knowing perfecty that I was dumb and didn't know anything, I still expected myself to make masterpieces right away or at least after a month. And when that didn't happen, I gave up digital for 2 YEARS ! I was soooo insecure, sooooo ashamed, and hated digital to my core, yet look at me now lol all my pieces are digital 🧡 and whether they r good or bad, I had fun making the big majority of them ! And in the future? Who knows what the future holds??? All I know is that I'll keep making art as long as I enjoy it, and that's it!
💜 I may make some redraws for fun and for yall to see 💜
