Spider girls (2017, 2018) 🕸️🖤🕸️🖤🕸️
There's a huge spider (as big as a hand) in our house that I named Ronald, I hope he eats all the bugs! It's size is definitely creepy in our little tatami house and I hope he isn't in our tiny bathroom in the middle of the night. 🥺🥺
With all the shows getting cancelled and postponed (including three shows I was supposed to jury this spring) I wanted to use my website to feature a juried selection of artists in my first virtual exhibition.
So, I give you the Social Distancing Virtual Exhibition. The application is very short and FREE. All are welcome to apply, particularly younger and emerging artists. Apply by April 13 at my website (link in bio). And tell your friends!!
In the process of developing the next "Bird, tree, card" painting. Building off the root sketch and incorporating a harpy eagle. Which heard of but never really "looked at before... and wow. They are beautiful, huge and so odd. .
I often sketch while family watches tv. for this one I did on two different nights one watching Mrs. Maisel, the other Dirty Harry. I found it interesting on the different approaches (also one I sipped wine with:) I will let you guess which one that is. .
These lovelies are off to live at Grange 🎨🌊
Thank you so much to my collector for supporting the arts during such an unknown time, I’m so grateful and also pleased to be able to provide you with some colour for you home, Ren 💋
Week 12/15 of the #15weekportraitchallenge hosted by @ajalper is probably my most adorable subject ever...⠀
I think I need to paint more cute babies for the sake of my mental health. It’s impossible not to smile when you look at a face like that, right!? ⠀
Jenn & Zach, you sure have a precious little one! Thank you @rojendesigns for the joy of painting him. 🥰
