I was 8. ✈ I went to Disney World and in the way back, I was given my wings. 🐝 I've taken many flights since but it's such a huge experience, hard to forget!
It's also quite intense to take a step back and realize how far we've come in aviation. The building highlighted by this gorgeous day is "Century of Flight Hangar" and we'll be inside in 2 days! What are you expecting to see? 👀
Last post, we were upclose to American flags of old, in front of the building here are state flags. To the right, however, are decommissioned planes.. More of those to come as well. ✈
Nothing beats the sight and sound of a 747 taking off! 🛫😍🤘 As fewer and fewer of the type are in service, it seems every 747 movement I get to see, is just that little bit more special. What about you, are you feeling the same?

🛫At 12,000 metres (39,000 feet), oxygen pressure is so low that even breathing pure oxygen doesn’t transfer enough into your blood
🛫This is why all airliner cabins are pressurised, and need an air supply pumped into them to maintain our most vital life process
🛫If the cabin were to depressurise at this altitude, you’d have approximately 15 seconds to get your oxygen mask on before losing consciousness
🛫The cargo hold is also pressurised to prevent items within passengers’ luggage leaking, expanding or bursting
🛫In a standard commercial air recirculation system, the air that’s pumped out is composed of 50 per cent outside air and 50 per cent re-circulated air
🛫The recycled air isn’t simply pumped back around the cabin
🛫It goes through a complex cleaning process to remove bacteria, fungi, dust, fibres and odours
🛫This 50/50 mix ensures that the chance of germs spreading is kept very low while also guaranteeing optimal fuel economy for the plane
🛫The outside component of this mixture is provided by the engines, which take in some of the surrounding air as they fly and compress it
🛫This compression heats the air, so it is cooled and then filtered before being mixed with the recycled cabin supply
🛫Sensors regulate the rate at which outside air is added to the cabin in order to maintain optimum air pressure inside the plane, allowing passengers and crew to breathe easy.

How to become pilot?
This was the biggest question in mind as being from a non aviation background... All I knew was I want to become a pilot but how.... Its been really a long journey and thanks to everyone who guided me till here *I was just lucky to meet right people at right time* but have seen alot being misguided because of internet or because not meeting the right person and then end up giving up on their dreams. I get so many DMs of confused students clueless on how to become a pilot and where to start, so I have decided to help students and guide to become pilot atleast till the stage I have reached... So if you want to or know someone who genuinely wants to become a pilot and need guidance... Feel free to DM me.
