#nofilter backyard picnic kinda day. Had a very relaxed weekend with very sunny weather most of the time. It did pour very bad in between but that’s fine. I will be spamming y’all with more pictures of my backyard. Right now this is my most favorite place to let go and relax. The plants are starting to grow and flowers starting to bloom and birds are chirping all the time. This is my get away place when I need some peace and quiet. Have a great week insta peeps.
Culpability for not having enough time for Amelie is overwhelming sometimes. Whether I am on the computer or enjoying a reading, what she sees is that I’m not with her🤭😅
But, oh moms just wanna have time🎶 🙈 ••••••
Sticking to a new routine it’s been crazy over here. I found myself enjoying the sunset in the backyard even though it is a mess 🙈 cuz moving during the quarantine it takes quite longer than expected.
But, oh man if there is life, there's a chance ☀️ ••••••
I miss my siblings, my grandparents, and all my family. Video calls seem not to be enough, lately.
Even though I enjoy the peace of having them in this world and I thank God for that #quarentinelife#sunsets#backyardfun
Day 73 was a day in which Izzy informed us she was so frustrated she had to clean AGAIN. She just helped clean the house LAST weekend. 🙄 Yes, kiddo, that's how it works. After a long morning of cleaning, we said goodbye to Mima's car, which had been our guest overnight. Susie Saab has a bit of an incontinence issue, and left our driveat covered in oil. Izzy and I scrubbed it with Dawn and got a good deal of it off. .
Izzy had also let us know this morning she thinks we work too much. She begged for a water balloon fight... and she got one! Patches got on on the fun, too. And don't worry, we kept a close eye on him so he didn't eat any of the balloons. Some additional playtime in the sprinkler for Iz while I attempted to plant some flowers and tackle the bushes in front capped off the afternoon before it was time to light up the grill. We enjoyed a lovely dinner over a rousing game of Ticket to Ride. .
How was your Memorial day? Did you stay socially distanced? What did you do for fun?

We had a quiet afternoon, after our busy morning at the zoo.
DIY poppies for Memorial Day 🇺🇸 Your community will love working on projects that have meaning and they can wear ❤️ We have many projects spanning every holiday and just because projects for all the days in between! 🌟
How’s your bank holiday been so far? We’ve spent most of it here 👆🏻and it’s been glorious. Apart from the flipping wind 💨 This part of the garden is nearly finished. I’ve still got things to do like tile the pallet table, finish painting the fence, add more plants to the left and waiting on some outdoor rugs, but loving how this space looks already and how much we use it!! It’s been an absolute game changer and can’t believe it took 3 years for us to realise that letting the trampoline have all the sun was just plain ridiculous!
I’ve written a blog post about the must have item in every garden, festoon lights, link in bio. They really do complete this space.

Let the celebration begin. We are all ready for some good food and time outside. I think the kids are most excited about the fireworks. Ryann and I set up our dessert tray a little early. I just hope the kids don’t eat it all before the food is done. 🤪
How are you guys celebrating?

Today was the first time... ever in my life that I didn’t feel like I was at home, even though I was home!
It’s amazing how much being outside, getting ready, and mentally thinking you’re on vacation can do for you. Oh and the wine helps too. 😊🌴
