I miss the mountains so much 🏔 - I’m starting to go crazy being home so much. What are you doing to pass the time? 🤷♀️

Life’s not really all unicorns & rainbows right now but I can take it back to a day when it was.
I really disliked this hike while we were doing it...as we have established I haven’t been a strong climber, give me all the downhill & I’ll crush it but uphill, not quite as much fun. I was not super happy that @ultrarunnersd picked the trail which was essentially uphill the entire way, with really steep uphill the last mile before it evened out. But I have to say the view at the top was pretty spectacular & I’d hike/run it again.
A throwback to great memories in Banff National Park and Lake Louise. There are hiking trails that go up up to the Lake Agnes Tea House for bird's-eye views and get you up close and personal with the glacier that feeds the lake. There's a canoe dock in summer, and a skating rink on the frozen lake in winter.
Mountain Escapes Vs. Real Life
As I settle into a new normalcy of staying only at home I have lots of free time on my hands. I sent my last client portfolio yesterday. “What to do” or “eat all the snacks” has been on the forefront. I am taking this time to choose to work on learning more about photography. Use this time to learn something new or learn more about your passion. What have you been doing? #stayhome

Social distancing, physical distancing, call it whatever you want, it’s all good for the greater good!! Embrace it. Use it as your time to really get into YOU! It’s a break free from the ongoing rat race we get so caught up in. Free of the judgement, free of the self loathing, free of the I must prove myself, free of all the external gratification we so desperately seek. This distancing is a blessing so get quiet and listen to the real voice inside, the one when you actually listen to it, it feels amazing. You’ll come out of this so focused, so grateful, so happy you’ll be giddy and so free!! Imagine the whole world like that, imagine how creative, how unified and how peaceful we will be. Ya, that’s right, feels amazing doesn’t it? Go there... 🙏🙏
El Nido is a Philippine municipality on Palawan island. It’s known for white-sand beaches, coral reefs and as the gateway to the Bacuit archipelago, a group of islands with steep karst cliffs. Miniloc Island is famed for the clear waters of its Small and Big lagoons. Nearby Shimizu Island has fish-filled waters. The area has many dive sites, including Dilumacad Island’s long tunnel leading to an underwater cavern. (📸: @merrwatson 📍: El Nido, Palawan)

Banff is a resort town in the province of Alberta, located within Banff National Park. The peaks of Mt. Rundle and Mt. Cascade, part of the Rocky Mountains, dominate its skyline. On Banff Avenue, the main thoroughfare, boutiques and restaurants mix with château-style hotels and souvenir shops. The surrounding 6,500 square kilometres of parkland are home to wildlife including elk and grizzly bears.(📸: @stevint 📍: Banff, Canada)
“Moraine Lake in the Summertime”36x36. This is one of those pieces that I wonder about sometimes- should I have kept it for myself instead of selling it at @artistprojectto back in February? After all, it’s a really nice momento of our trip to the Canadian Rockies a few summers ago. At the time I hadn’t realized how precious road-tripping would be. Can’t wait to go on another adventure after this lock-down is over. In the meantime, perhaps I’ll order a stretched canvas print of this piece so I can have this version of Moraine Lake on my wall. #morainelake#banff#banffnationalpark#lakelouise#lakelouisecanada#rockies#canadianrockies

Here is a tree made out of trees 💚🌲 We mainly featured architectural symmetries although I think there are many outstanding symmetries out there too. We would love to enhance our gallery with nature & landscape shots more often. How do you think about this? I would love to hear your thoughts in the comments below 🙌⠀

One of the best hikes in the Rockies ✨
The Eiffel Lake trail starts from Moraine Lake and weaves its way through the Valley of the Ten Peaks. It’s stunning from start to finish and you can go one step further, past Eiffel Lake and onto the pass.
I made my way down to this lake, had some snacks, made some squirrel friends, sun baked and then hiked a further few kilometres through the valley. Not too many people make it past Eiffel Lake and on this day there were scarcely any people around.
Trying to come up with a list of productive ways to spend this time at home, so I’m less mopey and less stressed.
So here’s what I’ve come up with (some of which I’ve started and some I hope to start):
• Getting back into dance by teaching myself new tutorials
• Keeping up with Spanish and maybe finding an online course to further this
• Learning to bake with my mama
• Learning a thing or two about stocks (thanks @shanecarl91 😬)
• Finishing some books...or starting some
• Sitting in the sun more often
• Trying not to wish for times that have been and gone, because it’s both futile and makes me sad
Spending the last few weeks at home made me realize just how valuable those small things can be.

Hope everyone is using this time to reflect and work towards becoming what they really want to be. It definitely feels like someone’s hit a “pause” button somewhere and now we’re all just waiting to see what happens once we’re on the other side of this thing. Well, I hate uncertainty and meanwhile it’s bringing out the worst in me, I am also learning a thing or two about patience. What are you all practicing to stay positive around this time? #everythinghelps
P.S- I just miss the mountains 🏔

Tranquility and Reflection: A Very Early Morning Visit to Moraine Lake in the Valley of Ten Peaks.
The sunrise was spectacular in this valley right in the heart of Canadian Rockies. At this early hour, none of the painted canoes were launched onto the lake and they provided an interesting colorful foreground to this beautiful scenery.
