Paid parthership with @germanytourism // Lovely colour and excellent geometry on this facade. 💛 I think my whole group of fellow travellers on this Bauhaus trip have several images of this facade. As it was the first location we got to and we all went a bit crazy with our cameras. 😆😂📸 Thank you all for a great trip, amazing laughs and great poses 📸🕺💃 if ever in Oslo I hope to see you there. ☺️ 💛💙💛
This location is the back of the Bauhaus University in Weimar. So open space to the public if you want to go and take a selfie here 😀

Vaknar tidigt trots att jag är ledig
Idag åker vi tillbaka till Stockholm
Det är så trist att sitta så många timmar i bilen
Jag hade gärna stannat kvar här några dagar till
Hoppas ni får en fin start på veckan💕
In celebration of the 100th anniversary of #Bauhaus , @cosstores has launched an archival men’s and women’s capsule collection inspired by the German art school. "You won’t find any decoration to distract from the functionality,” says head of menswear Christophe Copin. Read more via link in bio.
This is a kinda random post, but I want to rant about this on my main just because I feel as if I should say it. When someone looks at the photos of myself I have on my page, they probably won’t think much. Just a normal looking girl I suppose, which is true to an extent. Of course I have my influences that somewhat show in my style, but if I don’t have a band tee on, then there aren’t many clues to figure out what I like, other than black 🖤😛🖤 anyways! I guess what I’m trying to say is: I do have my influences and as you can see from the photos I’ve posted, there’s a trend. I am most inspired by those of the “shock” rock type of genre or what some would consider “goth”. From Trent Reznor to Tobias Forge, I am so amazed with those who are intrigued with the unordinary or “weird”. It’s so beautiful to me that there is a whole community of musicians who do not give a f*** what others may think, and if they do, they just keep quiet and keep going. As plain Jane as I may look, in my heart and mind, there is a love for the strange and intense. Some of you may know this because I talk about these people so so much! Eventually I may dress in the clothing to really show those interests, but I feel as if I don’t have to. There are so many things to admire that I can’t fit myself in any subculture. I am completely fine with that honestly. Trent Reznor, Poison Ivy Rorschach, Peter Murphy, Rob Zombie, Alice Cooper, King Diamond, and Tobias Forge... I love them endlessly!! Okay I’m done :)) #TrentReznor#NineInchNails#NIN#PoisonIvyRorschach#TheCramps#PeterMurphy#Bauhaus#RobZombie#AliceCooper#KingDiamond#MercyfulFate#TobiasForge#GhostBC

RED CROSS ON BLACK CIRCLE / MYSTICAL SUPREMATISM
1920-27◽Oil on canvas ▶️1-5
1⚫ ABROAD IN 1927
Malevich invented Suprematism in 1915. His non-objective art form.
These paintings went abroad to Poland and Germany with Malevich, to showcase Suprematism. He went to the #bauhaus .■.
See ▶️ 10 for further detail. Perhaps Malevich did created this specially for his 1927.
In 1919, Malevich said painting was outdated and spent time writing and teaching, including in #red#vitebsk ( now #belarus ) from 1919-1922■
See ▶️ 2 & 3. The red line is thinned from the original thicker pencilled outline. Note 4 shows pencilled lines for a crossing line form. The red cross creates an association with the Roman cross of Christianity (Note: The Russian Orthodox cross is closer with the additional crossed line)■ ■
4⚫ GREAT PAINTER
Said Anatoli Lunarcharsky, (Commissar of the Enlightenment) about Malevich, in 1927. But made a point that Malevich's muddled writings that included Christian mysticism, were likely to sow confuse in the German audience.
Another issue is that the Suprematists did not tend to refer to the cross. But instead tended to refer to 'the crossed lines' ■
5⚫ IN THE FLOW
See ▶️2-5 highlights the quick execution of his idea. Note the paint bleeding and pencil lines■
6⚫ IDEA OF A CIRCLE
See ▶️2-3 reveals that the circle is not truly a geometric circle. Malevich was not using the compass of Constructivists, such as Rodchenko, Popova or Stepanova. Suprematist painting as a human hand-painted form still lives here. ■
