TRAVEL PAUSE & no makeup selfie😧⏸ In case u missed it, after leaving the UK in Jan and travelling Mex & Guatemala for 2 months, I settled down to live in a Mexican town with the intention of living abroad for the indefinite future. A week later, I find myself on a plane back at home to the UK. 🇬🇧 Crazy what can change in a week! It’s been two weeks since I landed now - so sad that my plans were cut short but I know it’s so unimportant compared to the absolute turmoil the entire world is in rn. Stay safe huns, wear those masks and enjoy the puzzles lol x

Not in jail, not in a mental hospital, not in a grave, I say I'm having a very good day! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Suite de ma liste activités confinement, burn out à domicile
It may sound cliché, but the older I get the faster time seems to fly by. One of the things I love about backpacking is how time stands still in a way it rarely does anymore. ⠀
Between the hikes in and out, setting up camp and taking it down... your only focus becomes soaking up the environment you're in and the company you're with—sans distractions. The world continues to hurtle on back home, but for a sliver of time you're immune to its chaos. ⠀
Thankful for a lovely first backpacking trip of the season this past weekend, and can't wait to see what adventures this year has yet in store!⠀

They say Home is Where the Heart Is. Well I’m at home but half my heart is not here and I do not feel whole but that’s okay because I know this is temporary. It shall pass and he will still be there and guess what so will the outdoors! The beaches and trails are not going anywhere. 💚
Being quarantined during this time was not in my agenda for being unemployed before all this chaos began. I thought it would be so nice to have kids still in school and people working. I planned to go out and enjoy all the trails before the busy summer. But guess what I’m NOT doing during the Stay at Home ordinance... out hiking on all the empty trails. You know what else I’m NOT doing? Seeing my husband who is abiding by his Stay In Place ordinance 3 and a half hours away. .
As much as I would love to go out and enjoy all the peace and quiet in nature right now I’ve decided to take this seriously. It’s disheartening to see people posting stories and videos of being out on beaches and trails, driving up and down the coast to enjoy the empty spaces. Thinking “oh it’s okay because it’s empty.” Well here’s a thought, it’s empty because no one is supposed to be there, including you! It’s a beautiful time of year and generally I love seeing everyone’s spring time posts but not right now, not in this time of turmoil. So if you’re going to be that person who thinks your above the Stay at Home ordinance and wants to drive to your favorite spot, require stopping at gas stations (a transmission hub) or stop by your local coffee shop for non essential coffee and share all about how special you are, maybe think twice. This simply encourages others to try and do the same. I’m all for Nature Therapy but if it doesn’t include you walking out from your door step then just stay home. The sooner we can all abide by the new rules the sooner this can pass and we can all be back out enjoying our refreshed Mother Earth and I can be back by my husbands side, growing our baby and feeling his love. .

Tonight is the night!!! 🌟🌟🌟⠀
After so much anticipation, Animal Crossing: New Horizons is finally coming out and it could not have come at a more perfect time! I’m so ready to level up my village while continuing to practice social distancing.⠀
Who else is going to be playing? Let me know so we can visit each other’s towns 🥰

I’m not lucky and I’m not Irish, but I do like wearing green! Happy St. Patrick’s Day 🍀 @fabletics •
