“Stop crying now”.
“It’s okay, no need to worry”.
“Stop thinking too much”.
And the thought remain the thought.! .
From a very young age we all have been programmed to neglect our thoughts, feelings by either suppressing them or transforming them in something more positive by using distraction. Unfortunately, this results in neglecting the difficult feelings.
What should we do instead ? .
What is a train of thought ? It’s like a train, it comes, stays and go away. .
Let’s teach our kids to allow their thoughts to dwell, ask them to observe, pause, acknowledge and express their feelings so that they can learn how to act upon them in a more positive manner.

You know how when were rushed we tend to make mistakes/forget things and stress levels rise?
Dogs feel those same feelings. It is often that owners are rushing their dogs into situations that they weren’t ready for yet. Dogs are incredibly sensitive. They’re complex but ever so simple at the same time.
Dogs are simple association creatures. Let’s say I taught my dog how to hold a down stay inside my home. I ask for that same down stay in the front yard and all of a sudden they’ve “forgotten” what I taught them. They didn’t forget, they just didn’t learn how to do it in a new environment yet. Each time I change the environment, it should be looked at as a brand new trick that they’ve never learned before. Dogs think in pictures, it takes much time and effort for a dog to generalize new environments. It also takes a great amount of solidifying a behavior inside the home before moving it into a new environment. It all starts with hours of practice inside the home to gain the muscle memory required to achieve them elsewhere.
Pheonix here requires the upmost baby steps as fear often cripples her ability to learn if I move to fast. She has been with me for a week and a half and not until today did I take her out of the Jeep in a public area. The first week was spent solidifying a state of mind inside the home and getting her to take food at any given moment as she was afraid of the new environment. We went on about 5 car rides to a couple of spots and just sat in the vehicle and existed with the environment together. Once she would repeatedly take food from me inside of the car, I knew she would be ready for the next step which was getting out of the vehicle. If I would’ve taken her out before she was capable of consistently taking food then I wouldn’t be able to teach her because I need her to take food so that I can teach. She would’ve felt rushed, she would’ve made many mistakes and she would’ve felt stressed. Challenge your dog but challenge your dog one baby step at a time.

🧚🏻♂️The butterfly feeling you get when you first start talking to a guy is actually your common sense flying away from your body.
My 2.5 years old ask me every morning, “Mom when will school open?” The kid who use to cry his lungs out while going to school is now Missing his school, his friends. Initially which started as fun holiday for them, is now taking a toll on their mental health.
Children are feeling anxious and sad with the change, it is difficult to explain current scenario to toddlers. Few strategies that helped me in managing my 2.5 years old hyperactive toddler and home without any help are discussed below. ☑️Make a routine on every Sunday for the coming week, Second is routine for my toddler activities, to make all required material ready to keep him busy and happy. Third is my routine, which include strategies to complete work when baby is sleeping. ☑️All cooking and cleaning to be completed early morning when baby is sleeping. ☑️We always make sure listen to the child; he is just 2 but believe me we talk a lot. I always treat him like an adult, give importance to his words and make sure that I listen him. It helps in understanding signs of getting bore, anxiety and anger, so I can be proactive. ☑️Make sure to include coping therapies like baby yoga, dance and very little meditation at least three times a week. It helps baby to remain happy. ☑️Though we follow a no screen ritual but there are daily video calls to family, friends and his fav teacher to stay connected. ☑️We can’t go to parks but we try to play outdoor games within our homes, so that baby feel active and energetic. ☑️Finally, we try to answer all his queries genuinely (at least we try) #covidparenting#covid19#momlife#momsofinstagram#momblogger#toddleractivities#toddler#behavior#mentalhealth#womenempowerment#blogger#parenting
NEW SERIES STARTING FRIDAY: The Bible teaches that God doesn’t see race and He has made all races and ethnicities into one ancestry that’s rooted in Him. No matter your skin color, we are all made in the image of God, and made right with Him through the gift of salvation through Jesus. The Apostle Paul made it clear that in Jesus there is “neither Greek nor Jew, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Jesus Christ (Galatians 3: 26-29), and “that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,” can separate God’s people from His love (Romans 8: 38-39). Quite simply, the family of God knows no bloodlines or skin color.
We had completely different plans for June. Having done themes on ‘forgiveness’ and ‘marriage‘ for April and May, we planned to freestyle for this month’s Friday Post. But, Holy Spirit interrupted our plans and whispered ever-so-gently to do another theme: “Black Lives In The Bible”. We hope that this month’s theme is insightful and a blessing to you. We hope that this month’s theme is insightful and a blessing to you, where we highlight 4 Blacks in the Bible and what we can practically apply to our lives from their lives.
Não é "o quê", é o "como" você pensa que determina o que você vai sentir e como vai reagir. 🧠 Ahh a mente... No cabide? Ajudo pessoas a verem a roupa no cabide. 😉 💭🧠👕

I don't normally post content like this, however... Considering the climate of THE WORLD right now; after seeing this video I am compelled to say this... THIS 👏🏿IS👏🏿SUM👏🏿 BULLSHIT!!! 1st, if it was a fight between two people, and one being a trans woman and the other a biological woman; I get it being perceived as an "unfair"/disadvantaged (physical) altercation. HOWEVER! WHY DID IT TAKE 20+ (biological) MEN to, not only intervene, but BEAT the person down!!??? This was NOT the move, in such a state of emergency worldwide....hell PERIOD! Each one is a BYOTCHHHHH! How can we be on the streets chanting #blacklivesmatter and doing THIS to A BLACK LIFE?!?!?! WE need to take more responsibility for the imagery WE put out! And before you try to come for me; overstand who you are about to address! If you know me, you know what I stand for! 😡✊🏾❤️🖤💚

Lewis, a cultural linguist has provided a multitude of examples in communicating across the globe. In this particular model he examines each and every culture by categorizing them into three variations. Linear-active are referred to as cultures who are organized and planned. Multi-active is an impulsive factor where time means little to their priorities and more driven towards thrill or importance. While, reactive focuses highly on respect and courtesy of listening to ones proposal. This provides routine meaning when encountering other cultures behaviors.
When I toured the city of London it happened to be a very sad and dangerous time. Except I learned a lot from a culture that had a similar language system. There was definitely still some barriers with certain meaning but the gestures seemed more formal than those incorporated in the United States. This happened to to be the time when an act of terror took place across the lawn of Big Ben. Although it was a sad time I witnessed how the community came together in support of the ones who were lost. On the lawn and fence line there were flowers and signs posted in remembrance of what happened. The community was so welcoming of tourists even in a time of disparity. This experience taught me to never take anything for granted because at any time something could happen and if that something does happen unite together. They communicated how they felt but and businesses in the are were still thriving and busy. Not being scared showed me to take risks. #communication#behavior#business#variation#culture

As people pleasers, we tend to spend a lot of our time trying to be appreciated and liked by everyone around us. This usually stems from low self-worth, so we try to seek acceptance and approval from others to feel more worthy. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It is important to realize that doing too much for others usually ends up hurting rather than helping our relationships. When we do too much for others, we over-exert ourselves and deplete our inner happiness. This can inevitably lead to resentment toward the other person and overall anxiety. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The first step in unlearning this people-pleasing behavior is recognizing *why* we are doing it. I encourage you to take some time to answer the questions posted in tip # 1. It might be helpful to use my last post to identify the reasons behind your people-pleasing behavior. Becoming consciously aware of our intentions allows us to work on our maladaptive behaviors. To overcome people-pleasing, be kind, but maintain healthy boundaries and be assertive when needed. .
Good morning, dear Winner 🥇!
🚪Archetype 1: Balancing Process with Delay.
Structural Elements (go in a circle): actual conditions, corrective action, delay.
Description: a person, a group, or an organization, acting towards a goal, adjust their behavior in response to delayed feedback. Unless they are conscious of the delay, they end up taking more corrective action than needed, or (sometimes) just giving up because they cannot see any progress is being made.
Early Warning Symptom: “We thought we were in balance, but then we overshot the mark” (and later they may overshoot again, in the other direction).
Management Principle: in a sluggish system, aggressiveness produces instability. Either be patient or make the system more responsive.
Business Example: real estate developers keep building new properties until the market has gone soft, but, by then, there are already enough additional properties still under construction to guarantee an excess.
Other Examples: a shower where the hot water responds sluggishly to changes in the faucet positions; production/distribution excess and storage cycles; cycles in production rates and in-process inventory due to long manufacturing cycle times; massacres as a result of a delay by a government to react to a protect; sudden and excessive stock market soars and crashes.
Perspective is everything... 👀
Would you believe me if I told you this is the same #tigershark from a few posts ago? Same setting, adrift in the blue abyss, both feeding shots, except in this frame I am much closer to the camera than Djenny. The angle makes this 3.5 meter mama look tiiiiiiiiny... or I’ve suddenly become @andrethegiantofficial 😁
🔥🔥 shot by @scott_belt of Djenny and her favorite activity, going vertical!
So let’s talk tango... why the vertical approach?
This type of locomotion is not reserved to any specific species of shark, and for many it is a form of hunting, using the element of surprise to its greatest advantage. Tiger sharks’ eyes are capable of seeing not only out to the side but also up above them. This is due to the precise way their eyes are biologically composed (see @jupitersharks for more on eyesight of elasmobranchs).
This characteristic affords tiger sharks the ability to hunt at the surface while cruising along the sandy bottom of shallower coastlines.
Now, reflect on the greatest vertical ambush predator we know, the #greatwhiteshark .
Vertical approach = hunting.
So what do you do if a shark approaches this way while diving? Do not try to swim away from the shark, stand your ground. Sharks love to chase, and though their energy may be expended quickly, it’s not worth acting like prey and trying to out-swim them. Place your body horizontally to make yourself appear larger, often times this will cause the shark to slow down with more caution.
MAKE EYE CONTACT. If this isn’t enough to deter the shark...
Use two hands to touch the topside of the nose, and push/roll the dorsal (top) side of the shark underneath you. NEVER redirect in a manner of causing their sharp teeth to face you. Always try to remain on the top side of the shark when redirecting.
I witnessed all of our guests yesterday redirect Djenny perfectly, while she vertically approached them. @sethadamphotography@adolfo_d13 and @scott_belt were superstars yesterday!!!
